Thought okbatt.co.uk was in the UK. No its China.

Got refund via Paypal after 1 month through the resolution centre.

AVOID these people at all cost , its a nightmare , no battery after 4 weeks , dispute opened at paypal , they are useless , just keep sending me to a chinese website , I dont read chinese

Did not search reviews before placing order as uk site supported by PAYPAL - big mistake.
Everything that previous reviews state is still true - tracking ref that does not exist, held at customs and no email returns.
One big positive is paid by PAYPAL and they repaid all money back to my account. However after PAYPAL correspondence the company decided to resend package which has now arrived but is only useful as a doorstop.
AVOID AT ALL COST

Placed an order on 11/08/2016 for a replacement battery which I still have not received, 3 weeks later emailed company about not receiving goods their reply was :

Normally, the delivery takes about 10-15 business days.

The link opens but the tracking order number is not recognised and now 5 weeks on I am still waiting for my goods despite they claim on their website "fast delivery in about 7 business days" REALLY !!
Will never use them again and suggest others don't either.

Ordered battrey on 6 sept 2 emails to seller and no battrey after 4 weeks waiting. Both emails please wait a few days. Second on its been delayed by customs no dispatch email and no battrey came waste of a month waiting

They took my £40 for two batteries.
I liaised with the legendary "Geoffrey".
4 weeks later I have no batteries and no replies to e-mails.
My mistake for not doing homework, don't make the same mistake.

These money stealers are getting away with just about conning everyone on this site including me, bought a battery for 20pounds and it said the delivery time is roughly 5-7 working days...yeah....try 21 working days and counting, I lost my money an they don't reply to emails and ofcourse paypal are always there to protect the SELLER, STAY AWAY from this site your battery will either never come (like mine) or it will come and be of no use. Very organised crime I do have to say.

I ordered a replacement battery for a HP Pavilion G6..Much like the other experiences here, my battery never arrived. E-mailed ok.batt.co.uk, and was told its the busy season but rest assured the battery was on its way..Time rolled by, still no battery. The legendary "Geoffrey" was my contact..E-mailed them again, no answer this time..Got onto pay-pal, waiting to hear from them to see if they can do anything but I'm not holding my breath. I only discovered all these reviews for okbatt.co.uk after I ordered the battery..Hindsight and all that. I've never had a problem with ordering anything on the internet before so this is the first time I've been stung like this. Maybe its a good thing that the battery never arrived considering all the gripes I've read about their quality .In conclusion, stay away from this site, it wont end well..

I bought a replacement battery for my Acer laptop. It lasted just 5 months.
It no longer charges and will hold absolutely no charge now at all. As soon as I unplug the power lead, the laptop dies. The battery does nothing at all now.
The battery deteriorated rapidly in the past 4 weeks or so. It went from holding a charge from over an hour to not holding a charge at all.
The website okbatt.co.uk is not a U.K. based company I have now discovered. So there is fraud even in the name, let alone the product.
The website says that the batteries are guaranteed for 3 years. Then why will they not return my emails requesting a replacement?
Paypal say the dispute I tried to file is more than 45 days old. But the battery lasted more than 45 days which is why I did not file a dispute.
I only tried to file one when I realized that these thieves will not return my correspondence.
Don't be duped like many of us on this review forum.

I recently purchased a battery from this site, unfortunately before reading these reviews.
I thought that by buying from a .co.uk site i was buying something from the UK as i intentionally didn't want an item shipped from Asia.
When the battery arrived in the UK, i got a letter from the local Post Office saying i had to pay £12.08 to release the item.
When this is added to the cost of £32.28 of the battery this made the cost highly uncompetitive.
I contacted the seller to request he pay this charge as I feel that the deceit of the website owner in portraying his site to be UK based is the sole cause of this problem so i don't think should have to pay the customs charge.
I sent numerous emails to the seller saying i would return the item and wanted a refund which were ignored.
I then had to take the matter up with Paypal who are on the case now.

Hopefully Paypal can resolve this for me.
I will try to update this when i know the outcome.

Paid for a 7800mAh battery. Received a 6600 mAh battery. No response from seller.

Initially I lodged a Paypal dispute once I realised that I had paid for a battery from China (I have been burnt before). Suddenly I received corespondence from the seller reassuring me how good their product and business was and telling me that the dispute needed to be closed before they would send the battery. (I should have stuck to my guns but I hoped honesty and good will would prevail) WRONG!!

"Geoffrey" (or whatever the real name is) will now, not respond to my requests for support. BEWARE: The "1 year Warranty" will probably be a hoax also. STAY AWAY!

Read all the negative reviews after I'd ordered my battery, but it arrived as described, in good condition and working. I'm writing this review on my laptop using their new battery.
Only negative is no communications from the company to say product had been dispatched. (My battery was shipped from Singapore)

Returned emails as long as they thought I was a new customer but when they realized i wanted my money back they not only did not answer me they ignored paypal. Paypal closed my complaint because the number they provided could not even prove the battery had been shipped. Oh it was shipped alright. to me. dead and unusable and then back to them they still will not acknowledge they have my money and their lousy broken battery. DO NOT TRUST THESE IDIOTS. They either dont understand English or they just dont care.

Thank you all for your review, you guys saved me. I almost bought from these guys, thank god I did a quick review search and landed on this page. In my case, it is okbatt.com.au, but I am pretty sure they are the same... scammers. I knew the deal was too good to be true.

I also have a battery that does not work even after installing supplied disk.

I have complained to Paypal and am awaiting the outcome.

No reply to email. After complaint to Paypal they finally replied after 17 days, to return to their address which they give as China even though package came from Singapore.

How can they only charge £3.98 for delivery from Singapore, to return battery to China (or Singapore for that matter) would cost about £30, making a refund worthless.

I am sure without Paypal I would not have had a reply, I sent an email the day I received battery, after 6 days no reply. Sent another 6 days after first email, no reply. Sent in complaint to Paypal, response 2 days latter, still not had no reply from okbatt to my reply to their email.

My advise stay clear. If already bought try complaining to Paypal, hopefully Paypal will be able to protect us consumers.

I will update with outcome of dispute.

The pretend to be a UK company, but no existence here... The shipment took 3 weeks!... faulty battery... no reply to emails...
At best, they are not fit to work in EU market.

Battery rejected by Dell laptop and no reply to email. £30 down the drain - my fault for not doing my homework :-(

Absolute rubbish, I too fell into the trap of thinking that this was a good price for a SONY VAIO.

Software that came with it is useless, no reply from emails, no help at all so £30 plus down tube.

Wish I had looked for this website first.

ordered a battery for my laptop.....it never turned up though the payment had been taken from my account ....the only contact i could make was via email as they give no phone no: emailed them 4 or 5 times with no reply...so i lost £30 from it

WISH I'D CHECKED THEM OUT BEFORE PURCHASING - DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE

One star feels too high! Required a 'battery driver' which was supposedly included. Actually got a blank CD ROM and the battery is useless without.

Still have not received a response to any emails - frustrating to say the least...
