Please be very careful interacting with this company. I started receiving from them at my personal school email address nonstop, despite never signing up for them. I'm not a medical student or a medical professional, I work in the arts, an entirely different field.

When you attempt to "unsubscribe" about 75% of the time an error page comes up that says the action can't be completed at this time and to try again later. The other times when you "unsubscribe" there is a kickback page that asks you to "verify your email" before finishing the unsubscribe process - sending links to your email. This seems very suspicious to me. I unsubscribe from various email threads all the time and I'm not asked to further confirm by clicking an unknown link...

I did email Medscape about this asking to be removed and explaining the situation and I also told them I was worried that my information had been fraudulently entered into the system - instead all I got back was a one line sentence saying that "account had been created in August 2022." What??? I wasn't even in the country in 2022.

This company is very untrustworthy and they seem to mass sign up emails to their mailing lists and I believe they may be attempting to steal and sell data. Please be very very careful interacting with them if you actually willingly sign up.

I tried to read one article and they force me to create an account. I try to create an account and NOW you’re telling me something went wrong?! BS! This website makes it a nightmare to try and even ATTEMPT to create an account. No thanks. I’ll stick to WebMD.

Today's article is particularly disturbing. The title - "Caffeine Linked to Chronic Disease" - gives a completely false impression. It misleads the reader and gives an inaccurate impression about what (if anything) the article actually says. I would be ashamed to have my name linked to such a title or article. Medscape needs to do better.

Impossible to unsubscribe from their emails. I’ve tried unsubscribing via email and the website for close to a year. I’ve tried reporting them as spam. I’ve tried blocking their address. Each email seems to be from a new generated address therefore blocking doesn’t work. This is an FCC violation.

I’ve been on the mailing list for a number of years, two days ago I opened my email to be met with a number child s3xual abuse images (for health care professionals to be aware the warning signs.) The incident has made me sickened,deeply disgusted and angry.
There was no warning no blurring of the images you clicked on the email and there they were immediately. I’m not a health care professional, I signed up after working in a gp practice as a health care assistant as I did for many medical sites. I’m disturbed how easy this could be sent out to literally anyone without any kind of warning!
I did receive a generic email hours later from them apologising however the damage has been done now this should NEVER have happened.

Corporate and government-sponsored website censors all independent and critical thinking. Only the most biased, conventional viewpoints presented here. Don’t waste your time.

I must have wasted time with at least 10-15 of these paid survey results. They generally make you answer many questions to see if you "qualify" (basically performing the survey for these companies). Then later tell you that you don't qualify for whatever reason. Why not just tell you at the beginning, and why direct the surveys our way in the first place?

If you average out how many failed "surveys" the average person has to do, it's probably less than a minimum wage job.

Don't waste time on Medscape physician surveys, basically clickbait that dangles money they pull away after you work for them.

In the end, I didn't get paid on a single one out of many attempts over the last 1-2 years, so maybe it's just me. But just my experience.

Then you opt out of their mailing 6 times and they keep emailing you. This isn’t medicine this is PURE GARBAGE. so happy everyone there is jabbed.

Once you get on their email list you can never leave. I've unsubscribed many times, but the emails keep coming. It's a spam website. Stay away!

Continuous spam. Absolute garbage. Impossible to stop.

Unsubscribed multipe times, but keep on receiving their incredably unuseful offers.

I try to unsubscribe using the links but i keep receiving emails. Given that didnt work, i have also requested multiple times by email and / or on their 'contact us' forms to be unsubscribed from their emails but i keep receiving their emails. Really frustrating

Thank you, thank you thank you! It's so easy to go online, read articles, learn something in the process and take tests to gain CEUs. In PA, we need 30 credit hours every 2 years, so Medscape makes that totally do-able and for that I am really grateful.
