It was a pleasure dealing with Lighting Styles - they are professional, reliable and responsive.
We required goods to be shipped to Australia. They arranged everything for us and kept us up-to-date with the progress of our order, all of which made dealing with them seamless.
Our goods arrived in just a few days. Lighting Styles had taken an inordinate amount of care with wrapping and packing our lights which ensured that they arrived in good order.
Good, old-fashioned service that sadly seems to be disappearing.
I could not recommend this company highly enough.

I recently ordered two table lamps from Lighting Styles and was disappointed with the overall quality for the price point. Fitting the GU10 bulbs was practically impossible on my end.

When I tried to return them, the returns process was far from seamless. Unlike most modern retailers, no prepaid return label or collection options were offered, forcing me to source and pay for my own courier. Because I had to send the package as an individual private sender, the courier flagged it for a security check, during which it was opened and scuffed.

When I brought this up, the initial customer service response was unhelpful, washing their hands of the issue and placing the burden entirely on me to pursue the courier.

On a positive note, after I formally requested the return of my remaining property, they did promptly ship the scuffed lamp back to me with the bulb fitted. However, the overall process—from product assembly difficulties to the lack of a smooth returns system—made for a frustrating experience.

I received truly exceptional, old-school customer service from Jonathan. He went above and beyond to help me choose the beautiful Astro Tokyo glass wall lights dimmable five of them for a living room.

The lights arrived expertly packaged, with every piece in perfect condition. After installation, I felt the original clear bulbs did not quite achieve the look wanted. I contacted Jonathan, and without hesitation, he arranged matte bulbs and even delivered them complimentary.

With the new bulbs fitted, the lights now look absolutely stunning and have completely transformed the room.

This is genuine, hands-on, professional retail service at its very best. I could not recommend Jonathan highly enough. Thank you again—absolutely love the new lights!

I cannot comment on the performance of fitting of the lights ordered as due to the late delivery my electrician has now had to go to another job and won’t be returning for another week.
So I think there is a need for people to know that when ordering online it may be best to call this company first as I wish I had only it states on their website; delivery times: 4-7 days for despatch (a little confusing as there’s a difference between delivery and despatch) so I added another week before arranging a fitting date with our electrician. So in all 2 weeks for delivery seemed fair, but I called twice and was given 2 different reasons/excuses for the late delivery but eventually the lights came one day short of 3 weeks later.
Unfortunately nobody would make you aware of this, so if you need lights fitting by a certain date, either go elsewhere or contact the company and ask, though I did and they didn’t arrive!

Trying to define lighting for several projects at once and ensuring compatibility between all the items is complex..even for a professional .The team at Lighting Styles were really helpful and knowledgeable which enabled me to buy everything from one supplier and with confidence

Customer service is awesome, brought some lights which failed but the as soon as I reported to them they were straight on to it and replaced them, dispatched the same day.
"it's not how a horse falls, its how it gets up again that counts" Very very impressed, keep it up.

Lighting Styles.co.uk - Absolutely first class company with old school hat customer service values! Nothing too much trouble. Efficient and friendly. Unfortunately the goods I ordered didn’t quite match my existing lights. No issue whatsoever. Actually tried to source alternatives for me to no avail. Money was back in my account immediately on return of goods. Highly recommend this company. It’s reputable and British! Will definitely use again.

I wanted 3 large Scandi drum pendants with diffusers -that I could only find on the Lighting Styles website.
But on trying to buy them, the website did not offer my country South Africa (I live in Cape Town) as a country to which they ship. So I emailed Lighting Styles to ask if they could possibly ship to me. The response was prompt and positive - yes no problem! I received a quotation in which they had deducted the UK vat, and added on door to door shipping. A tracking number was forwarded to me which quickly showed me the Royal Mail tracking on the UK side. Then 5 days passed without any further updates. I emailed Lighting Styles accounting and they assured me that my package was in South Africa already and had cleared customs! The package (huge - about a 75cm cube size) arrived the very next day to my door, via an express mail expediting and clearance company. I just had to pay the South African vat and minimal customs duty on delivery.
What a truly seamless and first-world experience!

Our beautiful lamps arrived very quickly with good safe packaging. There was a construction issue with one of them which Lighting Styles resolved promptly. The service was in my experience exceptional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 🌟

Phoned for advice on a LED driver, was efficiently put through to Jon in technical support who was very helpful and asked me to send a photo of the present driver to ensure a correct replacement. And all this for a low cost item - excellent service!

I BOUGHT AN EXTERNAL PIR LIGHT FOR MY FRONT PORCH FROM LIGHTING STYLES 23 MONTHS AGO. THE FIRST LIGHT FAILED AFTER 5 DAYS AND THEY REPLACED IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT ANY HESITATION. THE SECOND LIGHT HAS JUST FAILED AS WELL AND AGAIN THEY HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY GOOD ABOUT GIVING ME A NO QUIBBLES REPLACEMENT. EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I AM VERY IMPRESSED !

It took me quite a while to find a pair of replacement downlights for our old Errol bookcase. Happily Lighting Styles came up with exactly what we needed. The items were sent promptly, at a good price, and Barry’s customer service was top class. Would certainly recommend and use again if the need arose.
