Not recommended!

Ordered at ABestKitchen through International Checkout! December 27th 2019 a limited edition Château Laguiole Sommelier Faure-Brae Corkscrew. Slightly slow delivery, but on January 16th I receive my package, which unfortunately contains the wrong item (Standard Château Laguiole). I contact them regarding the problem, they say they will return. Now, on March 27th, I still haven't heard back, and it's not because I haven't tried. So ended up paying double the price for an item I can buy anywhere.

I'm not a fan.

Don't use them. I ordered a pair of joggers from Toad&Co. who shipped via International Checkout. I had to return the item which did not fit. Toad&Co. told me to do it through IC. I e-mailed them about it and never heard back. I e-mailed them again. They didn't respond. I called them. They didn't pick up the phone (said on the answer machine that it was either after hours or that they were busy). There European phone numbers don't really exist. Tried calling them also.

So... their handling fee was huge (I ended up paying more for the handling than for the joggers) - and I couldn't return them. That is very close to what I would call a scam :-(

International Checkout is NEVER my choice for delivery, but since I live outside the US, often it’s my only option. Their delivery fees are exorbitant. If you decide to return the item, one needs authorisation from International Checkout. It can take up to 72 hours to have someone return your request. This gets tricky since there is a very small window to return the item. And, if you are from outside the US, you have to pay expensive return fees to get your return in by deadline. Then they have the audacity to charge you an extra $10 handling fee. Don’t even get me started with international duties. IC is the only place where they do not return your duties. In terms of customer service, they can also be difficult to deal with. Some of the people are ok, other are downright rude.

This company is awful. 6 days to verify billing information and then almost tripled my shipping charges after further 3 days of review. I cancelled the order. Shame on your company!

I ordered a pair of shoes from Armando Cabral who directed me to pay through International Checkout. They withdrew the money from my account but 6 weeks later I have not received the goods. I have contacted them several times but all I keep getting told is that they will update me by email. When I insisted on a satisfactory response while on their chat the agent simply cut me off. I have now contacted my credit card issuer to try to resolve this. Needless to say I will never use International Checkout again.

This company is the worst. I've ordered items 14 days ago .... money has been taken, but the order sits there. I've made numerous calls - but only have the option of leaving a message. CHAT is never available. I've emailed only to get a robot response that my case is being looked into. AVOID BUYING THROUGH THIS DISTRIBUTOR. There's not enough advil + tequila on the planet to get rid of the big pain caused by International Checkout. They are horrendous.

I agree with all these terrible reviews. I ordered sneakers through Coke and Haan on 19.9.18 who took my money . IC sent 4 different emails asking me for more info, all of which was given when I placed order.
They finally said order had been placed on 6 October. They said they tried to deliver the item on 24.10.18 but was refused delivery. They are lying as I was at the address! I don't think they even tried to deliver. I am now being told I HAVE to wait 6- 8 weeks for parcel to get back to states so they can redeliver.
Cole and Haan have no interest in helping me. This must surely be illegal.

I am a UK customer who placed an order for a ring with Jewels for me. They contract out their international orders to International Checkout. I received an order confirmation from International Checkout and the money was taken by Jewels for me, but I never received any further communication from either company and I never received my ring. I emailed International Checkout via their website and never received a reply. I telephoned several times and was told to leave a message - I never had a call back. I contacted Jewels for me who told me it was nothing to do with them, contact International Checkout - even though I ordered through their website and it was their decision - not mine - to place my order through International Checkout.
I feel scammed by both companies and would advised anyone and everyone not to use International Checkout and Jewels for Me.

Absolutely terrible company. In Oct I spent over $300 on a cardigan and still haven't received the item. This was their latest response:

Unfortunately, it has been determined that
your item was abandoned and discarded upon arrival at our facility. A
reship is therefore not possible.

Can you believe it?!!!

These are scammers! They do not respond after payment. Mails are not answered. Very poor quality goods that are sold as so-called luxury products. I have been badly injured for $ 700.

Do not purchase anything via this company. Very bad experience with them. They don't take any responsibility for your order. Basically, everything is non-refundable after you finish the payment. Think twice once you place your order.

I placed an international order with this company, I read all thesw reviews and I thought that maybe I did a mistake...
I have to admitt that I always found kind people and competent staff always ready to answer my questions and help me to solve my doubts. Maybe it takes a bit for the order to get to their depot, but then it has been shipped out immediately and got to my door in Italy in two days.

The reviews put forwards by other unsatisfied customers, is 100% accurate. Avoid any dealings with this company.
My order was stuffed up a number of times and correspondence with the complaints department was a joke. My order had parts missing that only required 1 screw and a washer for a desktop World Globe. I am in the logistics field and work as a storeman myself, so I was totally surprised that a storeman from this company does not know what a screw for a desk Globe looks like and sent instead, a part that belongs to a plastic Leggo set. To the guys that work for this company........they are paying you way too much, a 3 year old could do your job better

Just avoid these rookies if you want to avoid trouble

Certificate of biodegradability for a detergent ive ordered
Because my package is held in greek customs and
I need it to get my package

Its nothing for them just an email with the certificate
(Always the sender has this certificate)

They simply ignore me i havent even got a response

Livechat is a bad joke aswell because they just typed
"Your message has been forwarded"
"Youll receive an email in two days"

They managed to put me in trouble and loose me and many followers forever !

International trouble should be renamed

first time using this company and last. bought a item that came in a completely different color than the pic, and first I had to ask permission to send the item back? then once I got approved, I sent it back only to get a refund missing over $200.00. then called the company, first person hung up on me, second wouldn't tell me who owns the company? whats the secret?? and finally got a normal person who would only say email the support area. are you kidding me?? I want a full refund.

On the 28th of November 2016 I ordered a swimming suit that had to be shipped with International Checkout.
Today, 16th of January 2017, the order has not been even shipped.
I contacted Customer Service 3 times, first they replied generic things like "we will get back to you", on the third time not even that. No reimbursement either. I am shocked by this, they basically stole my money!

If you have any problem in customs they don't refund you anything. It's in their terms and conditions. Of any amount. They can have the item you hacer purchased and your money. Great business for them!
