Probably the worst online shopping experience in recent times.

I recently received an order of tea and a teapot but had a query about spares for a glass teapot as I felt it was flimsy and could break. I emailed with the questions but no reply.

In the meantime, as suspected, the teapot broke, so I phoned them about the problem. I explained the previous email, which was stated it went into spam, but I should send another email (attn Emily), with photos of the damage and and they would speak to the owner and would reply. No reply.

I phoned again and spoke to someone else(?) explained the background and was told they need to speak to the owner and they would return my call. No reply.

I guess customer service is not known to them.

Have ordered a few times from Imperial teas . Service has always been excellent . Waiting for our existing order we have had a human being call us ( yes a real person) .
Would definitely recommend Imperial teas . Good old fashioned service .

Paid for the 24hr delivery service on Thursday 15th January at approx 3:40pm.
It's now been 5 days since and still I've not received my order yet alone a confirmation that it has been dispatched.
I emailed them on 19th January but two days later and I've had no reply.

UPDATE: Still no response, so I've had to file a chargeback with my bank.

We bought a teapot. The colour didn't match the picture. The handle fell off it almost immediately. A crack appeared at the bottom and became unusable after 3 uses. We wrote to customer service but received no reply.

Having visited the shop in Lincoln and buying their gunpowder earl grey green tea, we now buy this same product from them online, 2 packs every 6 weeks or so. The tea is delicious and always gives a high quality brew. The service is faultless, order a couple of days before we run out and the next batch arrives promptly. It’s not rocket science, just a well run business that does a great job and deserves to be recognised for it.

I received very good service. My order arrived quickly and securely packaged. The teas and coffee are amazing. As the reviewer previously commented, the cola redbush tea is amazing. The digestive tea works wonders after dinner in the evening and the Colombia Pink Bourbon Coffee is the smoothest coffee I have ever tasted. Many thanks for the great experience 🥰

They do amazing range of teas and great quality advert calendars that I love. I’d say to everyone to try Jennys blend. If you’re caffeine free they do incredible redbush. The cola blew my mind.

Tea obsessed in Salisbury and I get delivery as this is the best place in the country!

Love this little shop. I have been in this shop when I was visiting one of my children and I also purchased a travelling cat tea pot on their website. Very friendly and knowledgable, I got some delightful Jasmin tea when I visited and The tea pot I ordered was delivered on time and is super.

Excellent products, excellent service prompt reliable delivery

Have just received my cast iron teapot with infuser and must say I'm disappointed on several fronts:-

Firstly, the teapot is made in China. Its looks of reasonable quality but the infuser is as cheap and fragile as cardboard and might not last much longer.

Secondly, as a first time customer, I would have expected imperial teas to have enclosed some literature advertising their different products. Possibly with a small discount. But absolutely nothing. Just the product and box. Very poor. Will not be buying tea or coffee from this company.

Purchased tea from Imperial Teas for over twenty years, originally climbing the hill and buying in store when I was a student and then subsequently online. The Darjeeling has always been superb quality and constantly changing - latest purchase was no exception.

Surprised to see only one review for Imperial Teas! I've been using them in shop(s) and online for almost 15 years now, and have been impressed by the range and consistent quality of products available (this is teas - I have no interest in coffee, I'm afraid). Ordering and delivery is fast, and they offer a "loyalty scheme" of sorts. On the rare occasion that I've had to phone them, any issues have been dealt with swiftly and courteously.

My only gripe would be with the courier firm they use: the last few deliveries have involved a charmless muppet who insists on calling me "pal", which I do not appreciate. But that's no reason to give IT anything less than 5*.

Cannot fault their service!!! this is not a cheap company - you pay for what you get....but what you get is excellent quality! If you have a more expensive refined taste....then check out them out as they have some of the rarest teas/coffee around.
