Communication, quality product, postage, speed, an absolute joy to deal with

I ordered a week ago still not even been dispatched tried calling and phone lines are down for checking orders but still running for placing orders funnily enough, same as other reviews basically don’t waste your money or time

Arrived 2 weeks after it was posted out to me. The rod was sitting in royal mail depot for over a week with 48hr delivery. Apart from that the rod was luckily ok.

Very disappointed with this shop. I ordered a reel that shows on website max 15 day delivery. Still not got it now and it’s 17 days later. The shop online intimates a few days for delivery but it doesn’t say they are buying in once you make your order.
I also bought three rods and some lures. I went for a price match on the rods as advertised on the web shopping page. I was told this wasn’t a site they matched too and as it was European you would have difficulty sending them back. I listened and bought from Gerry’s. I was given a discount code that was not accepted emailed and was told they would look into it, they never came back! They took a long time to arrive and I wish I’d have saved my money. I emailed re a few items, you only get a response in the morning so I guess they only answer emails in the morning.
Very very disappointed with the service and the way it operates. I have spent in excess of £550 and I am still waiting for items over the 15 days and emails to tell me where they are. Clearly they are ordering once you’ve ordered. Cut the middle man and go elsewhere you’ll get them quicker . All this in August 2026

I ordered on 2nd of August with delivery 5 to 8 working days . 18 days later I phoned and the guy said he would phone me back but he didn't. Today I was on the phone for 1 hour and no answer. I emailed and again no answer.

I ordered a rod that i wanted for 2 matches coming up that was listed "in stock" and there rod delivery under there " rod delivery data" states rods are 48 hours parcelforce delivery 4 days later on my "Gerrys portal " it still showed my order had still not been dispatched. I got an email after me sending two emails to investigate to be told somewhere on the web sight it says some orders can take 4 -8 days to send i did not see this as I went by there STATED delivery time for rods.they did not say in the email we will send today or tomorrow they just said we will send email when it is dispatched..this is sloppy service for a rod in stock i would think maybe not in stock but still taking money.i just said I want my refund I will go els ware.purchased form Amazon now for reliability..

Emails were ignored postage is very slow wouldn't buy from you again

Ordered a rod, reel and line to do some specialist fishing. So far it is nearly 1 month and I have yet to receive my order. Very disappointed that both of my fishing trips have had to be done without the gear I purchased. I have previously purchased gear from Gerrysfishing, no problem, but this time is so disappointing. If i was informed of the long delays on ordering I would have changed, as my trips were planned.

Have ordered from he several times now and no problem at all. Get my husbands bate sent with speedy delivery and well packaged. Thanks Gerrys!

I have placed four orders now and each one has been sorted and delivered quickly and efficiently. I don't live close to a tackle shop that sells sea fishing equipment so it is really helpful that the delivery charges are kept to a sensible level. Overall I would recommend this company for choice of tackle, knowledge and service.

Yes gear turned up well packed and in good order ive ordered a fair bit of gear from here and will be returning again

7-15 days to deliver not been into shop so can’t comment on that and to be fair after checking on the website it did say that however I don’t think moving products inside the UK and delivering them inside the UK should take any more than five working days and there are plenty of fishing places that will deliver within five days. Terribly delivery service Find another Angling store that delivers in less than half a month.
