Attitude of owner is dispicable
When purchasing a animal/bird as a pet and it dies after a few months, and was buried because it was upsetting to the owner, The owner of the shop said we should have brought the dead animal/bird back to the shop, it was not a car you take to a garage because it broke down, it was a persons pet and she was very upset that it had died, we was told you only get 7 days guarantee. Then don't sell sick or ill
animals / birds. The owner of this shop has an attitude problem and is not a caring person, just interested in making money.

As a company, Forpets take the health of our pets very seriously. All pets that we sell are given a full health check and quarantined for 7 days prior to sale. We also offer a further 7 day guarantee on all the pets that we sell. We have been advised by vets that 7 days is more than suitable and that most pet stores only offer a 48 hour guarantee. These conditions of sale are set out in the certificate that all customers are asked to sign when they purchase a pet from us. Although the loss of any pet is always tragic, we obviously cannot be responsible for a pets health indefinitely as we have no way of knowing how well the pet has been cared for.
In the pet industry we have strict guidelines on welfare and as a pet shop we not only comply with these but surpass them. As a pet owner and lover who has homed many rescue pets, I find your comments very hurtful. I set up Forpets because of my love for pets and people who know us know that this continues to be the driving force behind everything we do.
I understand and have been through loosing a pet and it is heart breaking but unfortunately there has to be a point where we can no longer take responsibility for the animal.

This a fantastic shop with fantastic staff who are always eager to help and advise whenever you need it ! I have asked advice about our many pets and they have helped loads ! I would highly reccomend for all your pets needs !!

Friendly helpful staff
I use this store as they always have good staff who are willing to help, I even ring up and ask for their advice from time to time, you can tell they are all animal lovers. Nice to have a local pet shop who knows what their talking about, unlike others I've visited.

fantastic pet shop
i live in Goole so i am able to go into the shop, it is by far the best shop around by miles, the staff are always very helpfull and knowledgeable, they have a good selection of products available and if they dont have it in stock they order it in for you, the fish are very healthy too.

Fantastic!
I bought a cat tray for my pet rabbit as it had out grown its normal litter tray designed for rabbits. Excellent value and quality, and the staff are really friendly. I have now started buying all the rabbits food, hay etc. from here as I prefer it to the large chain pet stores.
I would highly recommend it to anyone who has or likes pets.

Your pets have never had it so good..
Very impressed with the level of service and at a price which was more competitive than a 'well known chain of pet stores'.
I would definately order again - I wish there was a shop like this closer to Lancashire.
