Delighted!
I live in the USA and just purchased the Brennan 3+. Took 3 days to get to me from order confirmation - nice!
This is a class piece of electronics and software.
Set up is a breeze - found my Wi-Fi and connected easily.
I am about 70 - odd CD's in to ripping my collection to the device. I only have one CD so far that the MusicBrainz database couldn't identify - everything else loaded up with the correct album art.
Possibly because I am in the US it can take 3 or 4 attempts to get the hit on the database. Other than that its a very easy process - in fact kind of fun as I had a couple of "oh yeah I forgot I had that" moments.
The app is easy to use - I love the native Sonos connection. The icing on the cake though for me is the Web front end. Its really well thought out, simple to use and lets you edit everything from album art to band name, album title etc.
If you have bootleg CD's it is highly likely the MusciBrainz database is not going to give you the CD data. No problem - rip it anyway then go into the web front end and edit the data, job done!

Thanks again for letting us know you had received the order - I managed to stop the replacements.
I have instructed the repairs centre to always use a tracked service in future - regardless of the order value.
You will see from the reviews we get that this is atypical - but I will keep an eye on it.

Wählen Sie „Airable“ aus, suchen Sie den gewünschten Radiosender und starten Sie die Wiedergabe.

You cannot delete radio presets, but you can overwrite them with a different station. Here's how:
Connect to your B3+'s web UI through your browser
Select "Airable", search for the radio station you want, and start it playing
Select the preset you want to overwrite, and it will be replaced with the station currently playing. Our email is thebrennanb2@gmail.com.

The database used is poor
The database used for the album track information is community supported, tried dozens of CDs and only one came up with the information. Considering a number of my CDs contain CD text, Brennan support didn’t know about this which has been around for 30 years and used in CD & Mini Disc players and still used on 2026 releases I have! The unit was returned as not fit purpose.

Not sure why you found the album database didn't work - Musicbrainz had some problems a while back but our latest software fixes that using a mirror database and a proxy - a sort of belt and braces so owners get 98%+ CD recognition. Yes you are right CD text has been around for years but because Sony (I think) charged for it - it wasn't adopted by the publishers (shame). However the bigger issue is that CD mechanisms do not expose this data. Or I would certainly have used it.
I have asked the repair centre to take a look at your returned B3

Slow cd reading ( between 1.5 to 15.5), poor stability (use of face buttons produces random operations), use of ASUS computer produces screens with missing “button” nomenclature ( symbols for fwd/play/stop greyed out or missing)

Martin Brennan here - the CD will slow down a lot if it is poor quality - that can mean scratches and dirt but it can also mean the aluminium layer has oxidises so the contrast is not as good. You can clean difficult CDs - Fairy liquid, warm water and dab dry.
I'm not clear what you mean by the ASUS computer / button thing - its not something I've heard of before. Could you email me at thebrennanb2@gmail.com with more detail - and ideally a screen shot. I assume you mean the web UI and then its more to do with the browser you are using so let me know. Having said that there are only a handful of browsers and tens of thousands of brennans out there and I've not heard of this before.
