I ordered a hedge trimmer from Blue Power Tools because they had the item in stock at a good price. The item arrived far more quickly than I expected and was very well packed. I will certainly go back to this company in future.

I was looking for some Bosch toolboxes and various other items.
I ordered from them with a next day delivery option, this order
consisted of several different items.
I had received the email notification stating the delivery day.
Fantastic I thought as I had found a reasonably easy website to navigate
around and everything was in stock.

Wednesday Delivery day:

Parcel arrived no problems within the usual 1 hr time slot and I'm
thinking brilliant fast service.

That’s where is stops!

After my initial delight at the speedy fast service I was getting rather
anxious to the fact I had ordered a fairly bulky order and this parcel
seemed rather small for that order. Not to worry they were probably
packaged inside each other to save on transporting costs.

I opened the parcel to find 6 items short.
So onto the phone I went stating my name and what i had ordered to then
be told the missing items were on 'back order' and they would arrive at
the end of the week!

No mention on the website about being out of stock...

I had only ordered from BPT because everything was in stock
and that I was on holiday the day of the delivery.
Now I had to arrange for someone to accept delivery on the Friday as I
would be working.
UK Mail are now owned by DPD so they offer the fantastic one hour
delivery slot.

Friday Delivery day:

So, parcel arrived and 4 of the 6 missing items had been delivered.....

Had to phone again to find out why there was still items missing.
When I got through to talk with your representative and after giving out
my name I could clearly hear him sighing on the other end of the phone!
How dare I phone eh!

Anyway the remaining 2 items were on 'back order' again. They would be
here today [Friday/today] or the following Monday.

Monday came and went with no email about delivery. So I waited
till the following Friday and still had no email.

I emailed them only to be told the order was complete and the parcel was
signed for and delivered last Friday. After a few emails back and forth the
error could be seen. The items were still on 'back order' but after some
searching they found them at another branch.

Monday Delivery:

Parcel arrived to complete the order.

A few things Blue Power Tools.
1. If you plainly don't have the items in stock clearly show that item
out of stock and on 'BACK ORDER’. It is very misleading to make it look as though everything is in stock.

2. The common courtesy of an email to say an item is not in stock would have gone a long way.

3. Having to scrutinise my invoice after I have paid for the item to see
if they are in stock is plain crazy.

I can be sure I won't be ordering again and can wholeheartedly NOT recommend anyone with a varied order to buy from BPT.

Communication could be better please as I personally don't like leaving
such a harsh review!

I had to wait the best part of two months before the item arrived. No explanation has been given for the delay

Excellent service from this company, I had an issue with delivery but this was immediately resolved, very happy with customer service.

Very fast, efficient service. Hedge cutter arrived the next day!

After a Fridays I was contacted to say my item wad no longer available and a slightly more expensive replaced supplied at the original price. It arrived the next day.

Good price and almost instantaneous order fulfilment - only minor perturbation was no email acknowledgement of order; but I guess if you're going to deliver within 36 hours, there is really no need.

If you are thinking that this is just a cheap site and that you have to pay more for quality, think again. Like most people, I don't have much in the way of disposable income and I really needed a strimmer.

It arrived very promptly and I was so glad that I didn't just go to a garden centre or DIY store. The grass could wait another couple of days!

Despatches goods quickly. Would surely deal with this company
again, should the need arise.

From ordering to delivery the service was prompt and very pleased with the product. I will definately be recommending your company to other people. Best price deal out there.

Very fast delivery, competitive pricing and excellent product range.

The website is full of "how great the company is". It needs to be more practical so I can order individual parts of kits to allow mix and matching of my tools in relation to boxes, spares and appropriate batteries. Why have 2 categories of tools "DIY" and "Professional". The tools need consolidation and interchangeability of batteries. The smallest 10.8v saw is like a "toy" but so light, practical, accurate and easy to use, but needs a spare battery handy and charged. Probably better with a 4Ah battery but the web site does not show this option.

Easy to order online. Well described and quickly dispatched. Well packed and received in excellent condition. Well pleased with product and service.

I bought this for my son's birthday believing that it had battery and charge pack as well - it did not and he had to purchase them separately himself. Apparently I am not the only person to misunderstand this.
