The best way to loose your money is to order something in this shop and pay with creditcard in advance. Before Christmas I bouht trekking-poles for £ 49,00 GBP. I got an email the trekking-poles where sold out, I will get it in January. Since now I got nothing. I wrote several Mails and asked for the poles, I got never an answer. Then I wrote again several Mails: if the poles are still sold out, I want my money back. Nothing. No answer, no poles, and I don’t got my money back !!!!!!!!!!!

I too placed an order and the goods were 'unavailable'. I then cancelled the order but have received no refund. I am hoping to put this into legal action and would encourage anyone else scammed to please contact me on aosbanburyscam@yahoo.co.uk. There are several of us on the internet and I have every faith that the more of that get involved - the more positive the outcome.

I'd made use of the website to establish when the "Active" shop was open, only to discover, on arrival that the information was out of date and it was closed. I went away muttering about wasted time and petrol, and later emailed the company asking that they should update for others at least. I also placed an online order for one item I wanted and knew they stocked. Very quickly I had an email back saying they would update the site (an oversight) and, having spotted my order, would deduct postage from the bill in recognition of my wasted petrol. The item arrived swiftly soon after and went on to be a successful birthday present.

I ordered a hand exerciser. It arrived very quickly and was a very good quality product. It was for my partner who injured his hand in a motorbike accident, and offered a range resistance from 10kg to 40kg. He said it was comfortable and very useful. When I contacted customer service with a question afterwards, they had got back to me in less than an hour and were very polite.

First time I've ordered anything online with asobanbury.com. The hat I bought as a present arrive on time and in good order. However, I would have preferred to see the hat packed in a plastic bag instead of just inserted into and envelope. If the envelope had been torn, the hat would have become discoloured or damaged.

I found the customer service to be incredibly helpful and friendly and I absolutely love my new Gripmaster!!

Horrible experience, I only wish I researched the company online and read some reviews. My first purchase (ski boots) was trouble free, arrived in reasonable time, the best price online and fitted well. However, my second purchase worth £100 never arrived, an e-mail was sent saying it's not in stock and is on order and as soon as it arrives, it will be immediatelly dispatched to me. Waited 3 weeks with no communication, then asked for a refund as the item never arrived. E-mails and phone calls demanding refund remained unanswered. They just took my money and failed to deliver. It has been 10 months. I consulted Trading Standards and was advised to start legal action, but I can't be bothered. People like this are going to ignore court summons and it will drag on for years. So far I am £100 down.

I ordered and paid for goods from the online shop and they arrived promptly. However the fit was wrong so I returned them for a larger size. Nothing happened. I phoned, got through (!) and the guy said he had my return (which I knew anyway as I'd used Recorded Delivery), would send me the bigger size or a refund.
Since then...nothing. Emails ignored, phone never answered and the company's Twitter page full of the same complaints.
I've contacted Trading Standards about them and written to their suppliers. You can save yourself this experience by NOT BUYING FROM THEM...NOW OR EVER!!!!!!
