Deze case is dus top opgelost en ik heb de juiste lever voor mn belt gekregen!! She needs a raise

A bad delivery turned into some of the best customer service I've had recently

This review could very easily have gone in a completely different direction.

I ordered a new bench from Strength Shop which unfortunately arrived in pretty terrible condition. The packaging had clearly taken a serious battering in transit and, once unpacked, the bench had a number of scratches and marks as well as a split in the upholstery.

As this was a brand-new bench for a client-facing gym, I wasn't particularly happy. It looked more like something we'd bought second hand than a new piece of equipment, and I actually questioned whether it might previously have been returned.

This is where Strength Shop completely turned the experience around.

I emailed them with some photos and Reece came back to me extremely quickly. He confirmed that the bench hadn't previously been returned and had clearly been damaged in transit, apologised for what had happened, and immediately gave me two options - either a replacement pad with a partial refund or an entirely new bench.

I chose the replacement bench and, within minutes, it was being arranged for dispatch the following day, with Strength Shop also organising collection of the damaged one.

No arguing. No making me jump through hoops. No trying to minimise the problem. They just acknowledged it, offered a fair solution and dealt with it.

Things occasionally go wrong when you're shipping large pieces of gym equipment. For me, the real test of a company is what happens next.

Strength Shop handled it exactly how I'd want a company to handle a problem, and it's actually left me with a better impression of them than if the original delivery had simply gone perfectly.

Strength Shop equipment is excellent. I recently bought their cambered bench & row bar. I was desperate for it to arrive, when it did, it certainly didn't disappoint! At first I struggled to bring the bar down to my chest (being accustomed to the axle bar - which is also fabulous), but I'm now able to fully lower the bar and enjoy the deeper stretch 😊 If you enjoy weight training, this bar is an essential purchase!

Order came quickly. I ordered the wrong size. I contacted the company online and received really helpful support. Both staff members gave me outstanding attention that was quick, informative and bespoke to my needs. Very impressed and would highly recommend..

Bought 20" dumbbell handles but after a single use of 20 minutes with quality olympic weight plates the black zinc coating has started flaking off and exposing the bare steel. Only used in Home Gym environment with a careful user. Waiting support to get back to me at present.

Order and delivery was prompt and effective.

21/07/2026 EDIT: They agreed to return for physical inspection of the handles. It may be a batch fault with the adhesion of the coating to the metal.

EDIT: Review amended to 3 star since the company have offered a refund which I am awaiting receipt of.

I made a mistake in my order. All it took was a 2 minute phone call and Reece amended my order- no faff, no delays, no extra fees. Exceptional customer service

I’ve made a couple of purchases from the strength shop and the products are great quality and the customer care is first class I’ve had to deal with them a couple of times to rectify my mistakes and they’ve been amazing. Highly recommend this company

Great product high quality. I had to exchange my belt because im always between two sizes. They did this with no fuss and super quickly. Brilliant communication and fast service. Definitely will buy again from them and would recommend

I’ve had a fantastic experience with The Strength Company. The customer service has been outstanding, and Reece in particular has been incredibly helpful, friendly, and responsive throughout.

Bought the "Hybrid Duffel/Backpack – The Ultimate Gym Bag" but the zip has broken 4 times, costing £8 per time to get it replaced. Tried leaving a review on the website but they review it first so obviously it won't get accepted.

Have used them for years, from full gym set up, kettlebells, maces and equipment. Always quick to reply to emails, rapid delivery a 40kg was delviered in approx 24hr after ordering..

Ordered a couple of times now and my last experience was brilliant. There was an issue with the last order (my mistake not theirs), I called up and was lucky enough to get through to Chris. He sorted the issue straight away and made it easy. Products are great and brilliant service... What more do you want!?

Ordered a kettlebell from StrengthShop late Sunday night, fully expecting the usual “we’ll get to it eventually” energy… but nope — these legends had it at my door by Wednesday afternoon 🤯
Not only was it ridiculously fast, but the kettlebell arrived in absolutely pristine condition — like it had been lovingly escorted the whole way. I’m half convinced it trained on the journey over.
Top-tier service, speedy delivery, and gear that’s ready to outlift me 💪 10/10 would trust StrengthShop with my gains again!

I wanted a daisy chain for a dip belt, confusingly there were two one at £12:99 pictured without carabiners, and another pictured with, I ordered the competition final rep version at £14:99 pictured with carabiners. When it arrived there were no carabiners it didn't matter as I had two already, but I emailed just to query it. I received an email back generally polite and helpful but for the middle paragraph which said " the carabiners only came if you bought the full package including the dipping belt, they are pictured on the strap for display purposes only, which is stated on the page on the website", so I went back to the page and at this point, it actually says nothing about carabiners being included or not and it certainly doesn't state " for display purposes only" regarding the carabiners.
I am not actually complaining about the carabiners I've bought a packet of snap hooks for £5 so I'm set up now, not am I complaining about the product which is excellent. This is about having the focus of blame shifted onto me for not reading the webpage correctly, after which was really their mistake.

I shan't be returning to strength shop any time soon.

I have been purchasing a lot of powerlifting equipment from the Strength Shop and trust them with my training.
Last year, I was looking for the Thor Roller, which was out of stock. When I reached out to customer support, they helped me backorder, answered all my questions & kept me updated on its progress every step of the way. Big shoutout to Katie M & Reece for their excellent customer service and care.

Ordered two shipments. Both processed on time and dispatched quickly. One shipment was partially filled by the curier and some contents lost. Called Chris from customer service - the most friendly, helpful and even funny operator I have met. Quickly resolved the issue, replacement processed immediately, and overall great experience. Squat shoes and ez curl bar package also high quality and sturdy!
