You soon find out how good a company is with customer care when something goes wrong and Sentinel is unbelievably good!
Dropped off my 2 month old car before my flight. Very quick and friendly service when leaving my key and a fast connection in the shuttle bus to the airport. Reverse procedure on my return equally quick, friendly and efficient but then I noticed a scratch and dent on one of the car doors.
Duty manager came out to inspect it and then back into the office to check the photos of the car on their system when I’d dropped it off.
I had no idea that they take photos of the entire car on arrival and was delighted that they could confirm that the car had been perfect when I drove in.
I was told the managing director takes these problems very seriously and would be in touch.
I was sceptical and thought that despite the evidence I’d have no chance of getting anywhere and would have to resort to using my own insurance.
Delighted to say that I received an email from the managing director within half an hour, apologising for the problem and asking me if I could send him 3 quotes for repairs.
I forwarded him the quotes, the repair was authorised immediately and my car is brand new again.
I would highly recommend Sentinel’s friendly and efficient parking service and I’m 100% reassured that if something should go wrong it will be sorted rapidly.

I dropped off my two-month-old car before a flight and the service was quick, friendly and efficient, including the shuttle to the airport. On my return, everything was just as smooth — until I noticed a scratch and dent on one of the doors.

The duty manager immediately inspected the damage and checked the photos taken when I’d dropped the car off. I had no idea Sentinel photograph the entire car on arrival, and I was delighted that their records confirmed it had been in perfect condition when I arrived.

I was told the Managing Director takes these issues very seriously and would be in touch. I was sceptical, expecting that I’d have to claim on my own insurance, but within half an hour I received an email from the Managing Director apologising and asking me to send three repair quotes.

I sent them over, the repair was authorised immediately, and my car is now as good as new.

I can’t recommend Sentinel highly enough. Their parking service is friendly, efficient and, most importantly, I now have complete confidence that if anything does go wrong, they’ll deal with it quickly and fairly.

We always use Sentinel and have never had a problem. There are regular buses and it is not far from the airport. The bonus is that you hand your keys in and they park your car for you. Ths is better than parking your car yourself as it is often a nightmare finding a space at other places. I highly recommend using Sentinel at Leeds.

This is the first time I have used this service and can only say the whole experience was excellent from booking to checking in, transport to and from airport and car ready for collection! Will definitely use again and can thoroughly recommend!

After reading the positive reviews we decided that parking at Sentinel close by LBA was much less stressful than an early morning taxi at 4am that may or may not turn up. So even though it was a couple of days before departure I was able to get booked in at Sentinel and with the discount for joining as a member. This was a great decision as it was seamless, we arrived in good time and with clearly marked areas for drop off of my car , after handing in my car key we were straight on the shuttle bus and at LBA in a few minutes. On our return we were straight on a shuttle bus again and the process of car key collection etc was really straightforward and we were on our way home really swiftly. Would definitely book again. It is located just the other side of the large roundabout turning to the airport so minutes away.

ive used this facility several times over the past few years and honestly, cannot fault them. They're no fuss, no bother, just turn up and nothing is too much trouble. Brought a different vehicle? 'Fine, just tell us when you arrive'. Need help with luggage? 'Certainly'. Late/early checking in? 'No problem, we'll do all we can to make your trip easy'. Lovely, friendly staff, including the reception, customer services and the shuttle drivers. Highly recommended.

Its a shame about some negative reviews. We have been using Sentinel since it was a mud/gravel car park. We have seen it improve over the years. Drivers are helpul as are staff at reception. Wouldnt use anywhere else for our airport transfers. Would be good if they had an app to book though

Returned to the car park to find my car was parked inches from a vehicle that the owner had not handed in his keys in order to prevent it from leaving. We were unable to open the boot and passenger door without moving our vehicle.
Not sure what would have happened to our car had this person returned and tried to move their car! When I paid for parking I didn't expect Sentinel to use my car as a barrier and potentially get damaged! They obviously need to buy a wheel clamp for such instances!

I understand Sentinel has been taken over by a bigger company. That explains a few things. The friendly, helpful service has gone. Our recent experience was a return from Madeira and the bus was full. I don’t mind waiting 5 or 10 minutes for the next one, but this driver wanted everyone on board. It was so full it was dangerous. More people standing than sitting and cases left rolling around the aisle.I'm sure there are health & safety rules for public transportation. Very arrogant driver who never helps anyone. He is not a credit to the firm !

Always used Sentinel but so disappointed after using the service on 30th March at approximately 11.45pm. The driver was stood at the front of the bus having a cigarette people were getting on struggling for space with suitcases and a lot of elderly struggling to lift. He arrived on the bus speaking to people so rudely telling them to sit down in an aggressive attitude, he lifted some cases to the top racking in a somewhat stroppy manner. This is very sad as all the other drivers and staff have been pleasant and helpful.

Have used Sentinel for all my holiday parking over the past 7 years. A great team, friendly customer service and very helpful shuttle drivers, nothing is too much trouble. Absolute peace of mind that your car is being well cared for whilst you're away.

A superb experience from start to finish.
The staff of Sentinel were top-notch, the ease of the experience was further enhanced by their professionalism and their politeness.
My car keys were ready the second I returned to collect my car, no just a minute and I'll get your keys!
I will use Sentinel every time I travel.
Even the coach driver to and from the terminal were polite and courteous.

We limped into the car park on the 7/12/25 the car was not going anywhere the staff pushed the car to a safe place, told us to get out of the rain. We had to wait in the reception for two and a half hours for the AA to tell us they couldn’t fix the car. We were taken care of and showed so much kindness by Tony who chatted and looked after us as did Amy . Carl was an absolute star he took us to the nearby restaurant and insisted in taking our luggage inside out of the rain for us. We were staying at the Travelodge and fortunately not flying until the following day having had to leave the car with them. Thank you all for making a very stressful situation a little less stressful and allowing us to shelter in reception. A credit to Sentinel and valuable employees. Can’t praise them enough

I would strongly advise caution when using this company. I recently left my car in their care and collected it to find damage on both alloy wheels that was not there beforehand. I have a photo taken the morning the car went in, showing the wheels were unmarked. I am the only person who drives my car, other than their staff who moved it.
The damage is the type you would only get from scraping along a low object, and any driver would feel it happening. I certainly did not. When I contacted them, my calls were ignored and it took two attempts before anyone responded. Their reply then claimed I had reported the damage a week later, which is untrue. I contacted them as soon as I saw it in daylight.
They also told me that damage must be reported before leaving their premises, yet this policy was never communicated to me at any point. To make matters worse, their CCTV was not working on the day my car went in, which feels very convenient given the situation.
Overall, the way this has been handled has been disappointing. I am now having to pursue the matter through my insurer because the company will not accept any responsibility. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.

Drive in hand your keys in . Two mins if that to airport ,drop you right outside . Dont have to stand in the rain waiting for the shuttle bus like the official Airport car parks .I use every time when flying from Leeds Bradford

Excellent all round each time. One trip involved mobility scooter and driver took charge of getting it in and out, plus both times gave help with cases. Have used them since they started. Already booked for next year

Easy straight forward booking service, uncomplicated process for parking when we arrived, checked the car in/handed in keys and a bus was ready to catch to the airport with no waiting. Was exactly the same on our return too, we were never waiting more than two minutes for anything.
Toilets available and very accessible. Really clean too, which makes all the difference!
Staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming both when we dropped the car off and when we collected it.
Extra stars would be given by us if we could for the over and above of staff when we got home (over 2 hours away) and realised our son had left his cuddly sheep (that he’s had since he was a baby) on the bus when we returned from the airport to collect the car.
I sent a panicky email (late at night) to ask if it had been found/handed in. Not only was his toy kept safe in the main office by the team when it had been found, but we had a lovely email reply from Ben reassuring our son that his cuddly sheep was safe and not truly lost and that it had been kept busy on the main desk watching the buses come and go. A really lovely touch that our son is still talking about and it made the ordeal of losing his most special toy into it being on an adventure and stopped the sadness until they were reunited.

Incredible service all round, with a friendly team, can’t fault them at all. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend others do too.
