The technician staff, Valik, is excellent, respectful, informative and above all professional. He was so kind in checking my car tyres and simplified any technical matters to me. He is trustworthy. He is the best (along with all the other staff onsite) at Merityer, Woking.

Have used Merityre, Wantage on several occasions in past year or two. The team there, led by their manager who I rate most highly, are excellent. I am very happy that they know their job, that the advice provided is always sound, and that I am in safe hands when it comes to tyres. However the fly in the ointment is access. Trying to park there is a nightmare because they are always busy and the only way in which I can ensure I can physically park there is to come at 7.45am in the morning before they open and even then there is sometimes someone ahead of me. Merit missed a golden opportunity when their only competitor in the town shut down leaving a site that had parking for 20+ vehicles at least. At present Merityre Wantage cannot expand their trade because the premises are so restricting. Merit you need to find new premises or you will, and probably are already, losing trade

Took the wifes car in for an MOT, unfortunatley it failed on some welding and a few minor items, we took the car away to do the repairs and re-presented it, it failed again on some minor points which the lads at Merit tyre fixed free of charge! They took time and effort to help us out and re motd the car the same day, awesome effort to everyone involved especially 'Hendrix' who kept me informed throughout , bent over backwards to be helpful, courteous, professional and knowledgable WELL DONE HENDRIX! I'm guessing it was Barries day off today but you filled his shoes impecably and kept up the whole teams high standards.

Andover Branch. Failed to find 4 punctures in my Tyre. Charged me £70 to replace 2 valves and rebalance which I didn’t need. Checked with soapy water myself the next morning as tyre gone down again. Had to go back and pay for another tyre which they ‘generously’ knocked £20 off. Very shoddy work and a waste of my time and money.

Great service today from the lads at Merityre, Sunbury who replaced my punctured tyre. Welcoming, professional and efficient - unlike Kwik Fit at both Weybridge and Sunbury who claimed they were too busy to help me. It just proves you CAN get better than a Kwik Fit fitter……

I had a puncture. They went above and beyond to help and repair it. Their customer service was phenomenal. I visited the Purley on Thames branch.

We used the team on Friday for a burst tyre replacement and they were beyond helpful and an absolute dream to use. Thank you again for all your help!

Dropped car off at 8 am. Picked up at 2 pm. Perfect,after I’d finished work.
Had MOT and full service. Very impressed with paperwork and paper report on my car,detailing the service. Place was clean and tidy,staff friendly,and approachable. There’s a huge waiting room ,which is clean and tidy. And air conditioning in the reception area,which on a day like today at over 30c,was ideal. Jack was pleasant ,and friendly (it was Jack that was on the front desk when I was there ) Overall ,very happy with the service from the staff and impressed how well organised they are and clean and tidy environment 5/5. Great customer service from Merityre Wantage. Problem with a scraping noise from front wheel. Apparently a stone in the wheel scraping the disc. Car sorted within the hour. Friendly staff and no charge. Great service from a local company.

I went to the garage 2 weeks ago to have two new tires and adjust the handbrake. I already picked the tires I wanted to have which cost £80 and when I went to collect the car 2 hours later the mechanic said to me sorry I forgot to order your tires, so I put 2 more expensive ones on. And the mechanic said to me sorry he couldn’t manage to do the handbrake due to time and told me to bring it back in 2 weeks time. So today I took it back and he said give me a 3 hour slot and he said he will give me a call when it’s ready. He called me a hour later, and said all done but are you gonna pay by cash or card. If you’re gonna pay by card he has to find a code. And it’s gonna cost me £36.70. So I went to collect it as soon as I got in there and he said to me it’s done I adjusted it but it will need a new cable as it is stretched. So I said can I come and have a look at it first and he said sure. So I checked it and it was exactly the same as when I brought it down and the handbrake wasn’t holding. So I said I can’t pay for this because it’s exactly the same. I said can you change the brake shoes. He said well no as we don’t do the brakes. He said we do do brakes not brake shoes. And then he said to me we don’t do handbrakes really either. But it says on the window of the shop that they do. So with that he said okay and said don’t pay for it. Which I thought was unusual. So I would only give them a 1 star rating and that’s for the tires.

Barry (Manager) and his team at Merityres in Hook are excellent! I have been going there and recommending them to family and friends for over 6 years now. They give professional service and honest advice. They focus on safety and excellent service not sales or making money. They care about the customers and they have never let me or my friends or family down. I recommend them without reservation.

Brilliant organisation, not simply for their professionalism in handling my car but for their honesty in deciding and then telling me that the new tyre they had ordered for me was unnecessary; the 'old' one was perfectly roadworthy. All they needed to do was tidy up a leaky valve. They could have sold me the new tyre and I would have been none the wiser. As it is - a big shout out to the team for their honest approach. Now I know where to go in the future. They deserve their clients.
