Lost parcel was not reported

Parcel I sent was not received. Courierpoint said it was showing as received on the UPS website. It wasn't received. All CCTV was looked at. Courier point failed to inform UPS of the lost parcel inspite of constant emails and calls from me. UPS therefore did not start an investigation into this matter and now the time to report a loss has expired. So no compensation or no return of sender fees for me! Never again.

Terrible company. Do not use

Terrible company.
My company has used them a lot over the last few months. We hit problems a few months back with a couple of orders getting stuck in transit / lost and their customer service has been abysmal. We won't be using again.
Orders that were messed up and they didn't deal with:
Shipped + paid for 13.05, 2 parcels one tracking number - 1Z97W7486805994177
The outbound tracking number -1Z97W7486805994177 updates to show as delivered in Italy with no proof 19.06

Updated - following my review the issue is being addressed

I sent a parcel to Italy valued at £165.00 in April - it still has not arrived - the response I got was it was sent to Letchworth - not Italy - no response to any emails.
Updated - I was contacted this morning and the issue is being addressed

We have been trading for over 20 years and handled work for over 24,000 clients. On our site we have live chat during office hours, as well as UK telephone customer support and email contact details. We offer the services of branded carriers. So clients parcels are collected directly by branded carriers and can be tracked on their sites. The only difference to sending directly is that due to our buying power we can pass on more competitive pricing for their work. So it is very unusual not to have a shipment that was collected by a branded carrier fail its delivery. Senders and receivers can also contact the carrier re delivery queries. I have never known our customer service team not to reply to emails, maybe it is in junk and if this is the case I apologuise. I have tried to find your name in our system to contact you but cannot find it, so please email customerservice@courierpoint.com and ref FAO of Darren or call 0208 731 8653 and ask for me and I will personally look into your shipment and help you resolve it.

Best value and speedy delivery.

After trying for a quote from a few companies and discovering hidden charges at check out I found Courierpoint! The price and service was excellent. The parcel was collected on schedule and to my surprise arrived in less than 24 hours.
I deducted a star as the courier left no receipt and there was no tracking info but I will use again.

Great Service and Great Price

Great price. Simple to use platform, made it easy to -complete shipping documents and arrange the pick-up for reputable overnight courier service and even notified me of the delivery. No tracking necessary.

Excellent service

Excellent service. I had a small 3.2kg parcel to ship to the USA. Took it to the post office who quoted £68 to ship. Courier point arranged shipment for £34 and collected it from my door. Not only that, it arrived 48 hours later in perfect condition.

Great customer service, great courier service!

The customer service team are the best. I must make special mention to Victor who was so helpful & responded within minutes to my emails. The service, from pickup of my parcel by FedEx to the delivery to my daughter in San Jose, was seamless and it was so quick!! I will be using Courier Point again in the future & I would recommend them without hesitation.

Excellent service for Swedish pallet collection

I have been amazed at the service given by this company, I spoke to Victor who explained what I needed to do. The price was far cheaper than any other company I had found after days and days of searching.
The pallet was collected on time from Sweden by TNT/FedEx and I was able to track it on its journey. The pallet was delivered a day early which suited me.
Victor then called with a follow up call to see if everything was ok. The ability to talk to someone who is helpful and understanding when this is something I've never had to do before is wonderful, and took a weight of my shoulders. Thank you Victor.

Refusal to refund after damage in transit

I have used CourierPoint for several years and have experienced no problems until recently. A package sent recently via UPS arrived damage despite being adequately packaged. It was obvious to me that it had been dropped heavily on one of the corners causing substantial damage to the audio amplifier inside. I therefore made a claim for a refund, but after two weeks have had no positive outcome. I am just met with a 'we're waiting to hear back from UPS' reply. Rubbish! My contract was with CourierPoint, not UPS, and they should honour my claim independently. As a result, I now intend to issue a 'Letter before claim', and then, if necessary, take legal action through the county courts. I shall also endeavour to find an email address for their CEO, Darren Gross.

I am sorry to read that you have had a problem with your shipment and claim. We resell the services of branded couriers, and mirror their terms of shipment within ours. By working on volume on small margins we can offer competitive rates for their services. However if a shipment needs a claim, we process this with the carrier in the same way that a client sending directly would. If it has been submitted to UPS and we are waiting for their review, this would be the same situation you would have if it had been sent directly. The difference is we care, and do chase the carriers on a weekly basis for updates. I will ask our team to look again at your claim see what we can do to move it on asap. Darren

Courier missing -- Docment waiting to be collectied…

This is my rating at this point for the following reasons. Booked a collection yesterday for a document to be picked up today for an Urgent matter.

1. There is no way or no one at Courierpoint who can tell when the driver will turn up to pick up.
2. If the driver doesn't turn up then we have lost time and there is no way to cancel the whole thing and get a refund.
3. Sneakily on their communications with you they never confirm the time or date the collection was supposed to happen.

Anyway Ialso found out that my actual courier was DHL and you can schedule a pickup using the (Airway bill number - Courier point provides) and use that on the DHL website. So as soon as you receive the AW number go to DHL website and book a pickup. Don't depend on Courier point.

It looks like the wash their hands off the whole thing as soon as you have paid. The package is now due to be collected by DHL tomorrow. Let's see.
If anyone is booking a collection with them, please take a screenshot during order process for future reference.

On that basis this is not a customer friendly or reliable service.
I would like a refund on the basis I wasted an entire afternoon waiting for something that was never going to happen.

Thank-you for the feedback. I am sorry that you feel that we have not correctly looked after you. Your work was booked in for collection with the carrier at the discounted rate paid and they confirmed that the collection was accepted and gave us a booking confirmation number. We check that these come through for all our bookings.

We do advise when the booking is made that the collection will be made between 9- 5.30pm. You have not purchased a collection service with a specific collection time, so we cannot advise a collection time. The carriers offer same day collections, and the drivers are constantly having new collections allocated which is why this is the case.

We do place the work only with branded couriers such as DHL, UPS and FedEx, so that the collections are usually reliable. The vast majority of collections do get covered, however when they fail, we do chase and we do rebook or refund. Unfortunately the carriers do not guarantee collections and there is no refund for a non guaranteed service we can give. If you would like to cancel and have a refund please contact customer services. We are available on live chat or by telephone.

Again I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Lost international parcel and still waiting for customer services to reply for over 2 weeks

Used courierpoint before without any issue as the nominated courier company delivered without issue. This time, however, TNT lost my parcel after almost a month transit to Canada and I am struggling to even give 1 star as firstly the courierpoint sales representative had to be chased numerous times for updates as TNT would not talk directly to me. The responses I received just looked like those of someone who was not interested in my issue and he never replied when I asked for a refund for a service that I paid for but was not delivered. Since then I have emailed Customer Service twice in 2 weeks and am still waiting for a reply - as a result I could not recommend courierpoint for international shipments. The lack of any acknowledgement whatsoever is really disappointing and unexpected and unprofessional in my opinion.

I am very sorry that you have had this experience, less than 0.5% of shipments sent are declared lost by the carriers as we only route work through leading carriers such as DHL, FedEx and UPS. On this occasion the carrier has unfortunately declared the item lost and we have emailed instructions on the next step to process your claim. This is where the confusion was at it was not answered, however we should have followed up better and I apologise. We have now processed a refund and are back working in the office and you should now be able to reach us by live chat, email or by telephone.

Great service Awful customs form

Ease of finding a courier service and being able to send my parcels quickly and securely make this service great. Having to try and find obscure codes for the new customs proforma for a personal gift to family was a true nightmare and may put me off using courierpoint again even though I have used this site very successfully for years.

Very poor and expensive service

There was a declaration that this express delivery would be in a working day. It took three working days - the parcel did not even leave the UK until the second day after it was dropped off. When I queried this I had a very short reply with no acknowledgment of frustration or lack of communication.

I am sorry that you feel the service was not to the expected Standard. I have looked at the tracking and can see that the parcel was collected on Monday and arrived early Tuesday in REYKJAVIK - ICELAND. It was submitted for customs clearance whilst in transit. However customs did not release the goods for delivery until the afternoon which is why the goods went out for delivery the next day. All transit times are subject to customs clearance and since leaving the EU this has caused some delays that are outside of the carriers control.
