Terrible customer service

Now been waiting over two months for them even to respond to my returned product with no updates and frequent chasing. It was sent to them recorded and they received it in the UK.
Un-communicative and poor service.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

fraud

took my money and then said problem was with digital discounts - different company who just happen to have same address. After multiple emails THEY advised me to claim money back from credit card company. I have reported them for fraud.

Reassuringly good

I ordered a Z3 Compact from Chat and Vision as the price was good and the website said they had stock. I had a brief look at the ekomi reviews and they were all positive so I went ahead and ordered the phone, paying via PayPal.
The online tracking showed the order had been accepted but when the status hadn't changed after a few days I was a bit concerned. I then checked out some of the reviews on here and they made me even more worried! So I filled-in an online enquiry form asking what was happening with my order. Within 2 days I had a reply reassuring me and I noticed that the status on the tracking had changed to being processed. A few days later I then I had another email asking me to contact them which I duly did. Turned out they didn't have any stock of the Z3 compacts and they offered me a number of options and alternatives. I opted for a refund and this has come through without any trouble. The turnaround times on emails etc is slower than you would probably get from a company based in UK but they do come back to you and they have been very helpful.
I wanted to post a positive review because all too often the only time people leave reviews is to vent about problems they have had - which I completely understand but hopefully the company read these reviews and try to improve.

Wat een teleurstelling!!

Ik heb een Skypetelefoon besteld en geleverd gekregen. De telefoon is echter defect en na emailcontact met Chatandvision moet er een formulier ingevuld worden alsof je een raket gekocht hebt. Dan wordt belooft dat het pakket opgehaald wordt maar er gebeurt niets. Na herhaaldelijk aandringen weer opnieuw een belofte dat de telefoon opgehaald wordt maar weer radiostilte.

Ik heb mijn teleurstelling naar Chatandvision uitgesproken en teven de fabrikant geïnformeerd. Ik heb verteld dat het wat mij betreft klaar is. Ik gooi het product in de prullenbak, accepteer mijn verlies en bestel ergens anders een ander product.

Deze firma levert geen service. NIETS BESTELLEN want als je service nodig hebt wordt het een grote teleurstelling.

Finger weg !

Habe bei dieser seriösen Firma ein Skypetelefon gekauf und wieder zurück geschickt.
Bis heute 3 Monate später und 100 Mails weder Geld noch Telefon zurück!
Glaube das dien Firma mit Sitz in Hongkong nur auf solche Gelegenheit
wartet weil Sie wissen das man sie in Asien nicht belangen kann.
Daher unterstelle ich Chatand Vision Betrug.
Kann nur sagen Finger weg von solchen Firmen!!!!

Liefert erst nach Beschwerde aus

Ich hatte bei Chatandvision einen Skype-Gutschein (elektronischer Gutscheincode) über 10 USD erworben. Stutzig machte mich bereits, dass ich erst NACH Bezahlung auf die Lieferzeit von 48 Stunden aufmerksam gemacht wurde. "Lieferung" meint ja in diesem Fall lediglich den Versand einer E-Mail. Amazon bringt in weniger Zeit einen Gefrierschrank bis zur Haustür.

Als ich nach 3 Tagen immer noch keine E-Mail bekam, habe ich mich über Paypal (Konfliktlösung) beschwert. Komischerweise kam dann innerhalb von 1,5 Stunden die Mail mit dem Gutscheincode an.

Meiner Meinung nach ist es unverschämt, erst zu liefern, wenn sich der Kunde beschwert. Die meisten Leute haben für so etwas keine Zeit und vergessen bei kleinen Beträgen dann schnell mal, nachzuhaken. Hätte ich mit Kreditkarte bezahlt, hätte ich deutlich weniger Druckmittel gehabt. Wer weiß, ob dann überhaupt jemand reagiert hätte.

Long delays no good CS information

Honestly the worst purchasing experience I have had in years. I will never buy from this company again. The product is what I wanted and was delivered in good condition. However, it took ages and I spent too much money chasing on their 0870 number. CS never replied to any emails and over the phone never had either answers on the spot or responded with them later as promised. Money was taken from my account immediately after order but the product was not even dispatched for a month. Not good enough in any respect and from the reviews I am obviously not the only one. This is the preferred Skype partner. Microsoft, you're better than this, sort it out.

Despatched to incomplete address

For some reason they failed to give DPD the name of my company or our building name. Two pieces of information that where present on my invoice. DPD managed to deliver it on the third attempt after calling me and I talked the driver in.
ChatandVision should have put the full address provided by me on the address label.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I ordered a Bose mini sound system at the beginning of December and was told it would arrive between 7 - 14 days, plenty of time. I used Chat and vision as the reviews were good and the price also. I called after 10 days to see how the order was coming on as the status still said it had not left and was told it would be with me for Christmas ands was leaving the warehouse in the next couple of days. Two days gone still no more info on my account status so called to cancel but was told all they could do was to try and contact the warehouse but it may already be on its way FROM CHINA! I had no idea it was travelling via ship, if I had I would have never have ordered through them. I was told when it arrived to not accept the order so I would not have to stump up the return postage but it HAS NEVER ARRIVED! I am being told I will not get a refund till it is returned to the warehouse but given it never arrived I am left now paying interest on my credit card for an item I never received and they are not taking responsibility. I had to but another one from a different company so my son was not disappointed at Christmas and am now left stranded. I will most probably have to get a refund through my credit card. NO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We ordered an item on the 8th December 2014, and received it on the 19th. We were more than happy with that. The tracking facility is very useful, you know precisely where your item is, which is nice. 😀👍

Beware when things go wrong support non existant

Chat & Vision is OK when everything goes right but when there is a problem beware as you can see from previous reviews.
We ordered a Skype phone and it was eventually delivered within an agreeable amount of time. not rapid, but fair enough. As we live way out in the countryside here in Spain we have problems with DHL as well as other companies delivering to us.To alleviate this problem we had an arrangement with a Spanish friend in a local village to accept deliveries for us. We ordered this phone with the belief as stated in their website "Worry free ordering all dues taxes and delivery charges included". 2 weeks after delivery our friend receives a demand from the Spanish Customs Authority that she appear before her local Tax authority due to unpaid duty on the goods that she received for us.Which involved a round trip of around 45kms. She was informed that the declared value by Chat & Vision was $12 and they insisted that they see the invoice from Chat and Vision which of course read €75. After another round trip of 45kms with the invoice she was then told she would be informed as to how much duty was to pay and also that there could possibly be a fine.
We were of course keeping Chat & Vision informed of all of this ongoing problem. Assurance from customer support that we would not suffer as a result of this as they would recompense when it was finally sorted. Well the Duty turned out to be € 15 and no fine, but as we were so embarrassed about the time and cost our friend had incurred we recompensed her for her time and fuel costs € 50 only to be told afterwards that she no longer wished to receive any more goods for us. So a €75 phone from Chat and vision has cost us €140 which we could have purchased from Amazon for €79 and know that we would have had much better service as we are still waiting for any recompense from Chat and Vision that was in May we are now in September and still waiting, for something that is obviously not going to happen.
IF YOU WANT A SKYPE PHONE GO TO AMAZON FOR YOUR OWN PIECE OF MIND

Warranty Service

I bought a Skype dual phone 4088 from ChatandVision on the 16th of February 2014. It worked for about 6 weeks, The saga then started E-mails back and forth, until finally it was collected for return over 2 weeks ago.
Then the E-mails started again, the relevant Team etc blah blah blah!!
Nice Kind words and promises but as yet no Action. I have told them that I have run out of patience now and would like a complete refund as there is no sign of a phone being replaced. Our communicatios were all with Customer care Manager Jayden who was very polite but now seems to have disappeard from the Team, Maria has taken over now I presume. Total Globalisation disaster, thinking of buying a new phone from a local store who have wonderful customer Service, we should have done this in the first place but as it was linked to Skype I thought it would be more than reliable to purchase from them.
We live and learn, sometimes the hard way as this is very frustrating!!!!

Chat and Vision, never ever again, nie nie wieder!

Chat and Vision, never, ever again!!! Customerservice an absolute disaster. I ordered a phone, which I received very quickly (thumbs up), but the plugin at the back of the box did not hold the cable, so I sent it back 8 months ago. I did everything according to their instructions on their website, filled out the form submitted and printed one out and included it in the shipment as requested. 2 months later I get an email that I did not include a form in the shipment and they cannot proceed. I have been asked to fill out the form on their website again and submit the form (RMA) so they know what to do….???? What is this??? I did the same thing again and guess what?? 4 months later I get another email reminding me to fill out the form, which I did already 3 times now.

And the worst thing, there is no email address and nowhere a phone number where you may call them up to explain the situation!! Their email reminder is being sent out by an automated email responder. You cannot even reply to that email address. My 90 EUR phone plus shipping costs back and forth I could have spent more wisely. Plus thinking of the time I spent dealing with it, makes me soo upset. My phone is probably lying somewhere at their premises or even worse, I hope they have not just sent it to a new customer, who now has to deal with the same situation again. Maybe it's an efficient strategy to keep their costs low.

I am not sure how to continue with this situation….. It is "only" around 120 EUR I spent in total excluding my time. To take legal action would mean more time to invest and additional costs. With this review I would like to warn future customers and hope that you will not have to deal with it as I did.

Dear ChatandVision Support Team, I will continue with this proceedure until I get a refund of the full amount, as I bought a new phone in the meantime, of course from another supplier. Please accept my apologies, but I couldn't find an alternative procedure to solve this issue, apart from buying a plane ticket and visiting you personally at your premises to explain the situation and to find a suitable solution for both parties. In my eyes this is no customer service at all, this is robbery!!

Chat and Vision , nie, nie wieder! Kundenservice eine absolute Katastrophe. Ich bestellte ein Telefon, das ich sehr schnell erhalten habe (Daumen hoch), aber das Plugin auf der Rückseite der Box hat das Kabel nicht halten können , so dass ich das Telefon vor 8 Monaten zurückschickte. Ich folgte ihren Anweisungen und habe alles gemacht wie auf ihrer Webseite veröffentlicht und verlangt, füllte das Formular aus und habe es online bestätigt, zusätzlich ausgedruckt und in der Sendung / Paket inkludiert und auf die Post gebracht. 2 Monate später bekomme ich eine E-Mail Erinnerung von ChatandVision, das Formular doch bitte Online auszufüllen und abzuschicken. In der von mir geschickten Sendung hat dieses Formular anscheinend gefehlt, was nicht stimmt. Ohne dieses Formular wissen Sie nicht was zu tun ist. Ich wurde also gebeten, das Formular (RMA) auf ihrer Website auszufüllen , so dass sie wissen, was zu tun ist .... ? ?Ich habe also das Formular nochmals ausgefüllt und online abgesendet. Was passierte? 4 Monate später bekomme ich eine weitere E-Mail die mich erinnert das Formular auszufüllen , das ich nun schon 3 mal getan habe.

Und das Schlimmste , es gibt keine E-Mail -Adresse und nirgends eine Telefonnummer wo ich diese Firma erreichen könnte, um die Situation zu erklären ! Ihre E-Mail- Erinnerungen wird durch einen automatisierten E-Mail- Versand gesendet. Man kann nicht einmal auf die erhaltenen Emails antworten. Mein Telefon hat 90 EUR zzgl. Versandkosten hin und zurück gekostet. Ich hätte mein Geld sinnvoller ausgeben können. Mein Telefon wird wahrscheinlich irgendwo im Lager bei Chat and Vision rumliegen oder noch schlimmer, ich hoffe nicht, dass sie mein Telefon einfach einem neuen Kunden zuschickten, der sich jetzt mit dem gleichen Problem bzw. Schlamassel kümmern muss. Vielleicht ist es auch ihre Strategie , um Kosten niedrig zu halten.

Ich weiss nicht wie ich mit dieser Situation weiterfahren soll..... Es hat mich "nur" rund 120 EUR gekostet mit Versand. Um rechtliche Schritte einzuleiten müsste ich nochmehr Zeit investieren und dies wäre auch mit zusätzlichen Kosten verbunden. Indem ich hier meine persönliche Erfahrung als Kunde mit den Leuten teile, möchte ich zukünftige Kunden warnen und hoffen, dass sie nicht das Gleiche wie ich durchmachen müssen.

Das Telefon brauche ich mittlerweile nicht mehr da ich mir in der zwischenzweit ein anderes gekauft habe, selbstverständlich von einem anderen Anbieter. Leider wusste / weiss ich nicht wie ich Sie erreichen konnte / kann ausser mir ein Flugticket zu kaufen und persönlich vorbei zukommen um eine gemeinsame Lösung zu finden. Fraud company which misuse the good name of Skype 2

I found almost the same claim from another customer here. My situation is about the same. Though the previous experience seems soundless for those from chatandvision.

I also placed an order and in same moment or half hour later I cancelled my order due to unacceptable leadtime for my order. I would cancel it earlier if I was notified BEFORE my money had been withdrawn from my account. I have contacted them 3 times since I placed the order. I rose a ticket for cancellation. and they have only responded back that they have placed my order and it's being processed. My mails about order cancellation ignored. I have researched a bit on the company and they are not related to Skype as they write on their website and I also see that many others have had very bad experiences with the company so this is the reason for calling them a fraud company because they misuse the good name of Skype. Now I also have contacted my bank to create a opposition against them as it is illegal to withdraw the Money before sending the goods. They will properly write me that they have been very busy and that the apologize now...let's see.

SVINDEL - FRAUD - AVOID !!!!

Pas på - de sender fra Hongkong - og du skal betale told, moms og gebyrer - også selvom der står det stik modsatte på deres hjemmeside !!!! Der er ingen telefon numrer eller e-amil adresser - blot et besked system, som tilsyneladende slet ikke virker - der kommer i alt fald aldrig kvittering på henvendelsen eller et svar. Utroligt at Skype og Microsoft vil lægge navn til et samarbejde med sådan en flok svindlere. Køb aldrig varer her !!!

No delivery 3 weeks after order....

Ordered a web cam on 23 Feb and still not delivered by 14 March despite website saying 7 to 14 day delivery. Helpline down when I first called and staff answering on the second time could offer no clear explanation and simply repeated 'you concern will be escalated'....very disappointed with service.
Added: Guess what just received goods (14 March) a few days after raising dispute with PayPal but 3 weeks delivery time simply not satisfactory.
