The customer service desk was very helpful, I think her name was Cathy. She talked me through the process with my companies Cycle 2 Work scheme. When I picked up my bike from the Bristol office they were great and talked me through the bike with true care.

£2,500 purchase ended up in the County Court
The company does not understand their legal obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I bought a brand new bike that made a loud clicking sound when moving - but as I have previous experience of cycling on an electric bike, I raised this as an issue. I returned to the shop to have the chain tightened (their diagnosis) but this made no difference, and eventually the bike was rejected under Section 20(8) of the Act for a refund in early July following their unsuccessful repair.
The company then disagreed that the bike was faulty and after they were unsuccessful in attempting to negotiate they were served with a "Letter before County Court proceedings" but no refund was forthcoming and my claim was filed with the County Court - to which there was no response, and judgment was given in default. Payment was made after they were advised that the judgment debt would be enforced by bailiffs or by High Court enforcement officers if the debt was transferred, as it was over £600.
Be wary of attempts to talk you out of your legal rights!

We are sorry that this matter was not resolved sooner. Although our workshop inspection did not identify a fault with the bicycle, we acknowledge that we failed to respond to the court claim within the required timeframe.
The judgment was therefore entered by default and has now been paid in full. We are reviewing our internal processes to prevent this from happening again.

Brilliant, honest & efficient service
I’m writing in relation to the Bristol shop on Whiteladies Road - I can't recommend this shop enough! My e-bike's front wheel was destroyed by an attempted theft, and I went in expecting a hefty repair quote followed by the whole insurance claims headache. Instead, the team took the bike straight into the workshop, assessed the damage and had it fixed there and then.
Tiren talked me through the pros and cons of claiming on insurance versus paying for the repair myself, and was upfront that they could offer a price low enough that it my not be worth the hassle of a claim. That honesty, on top of the speed of the repair, took away so much stress, especially since I'd been dreading the whole insurance claim process.
Absolutely huge thanks to Tiren and Gabe, who looked after me that day and got me back on the road immediately. And thanks again to Tiren for the great service when I originally bought the bike a few months ago. Brilliant, honest, efficient service - I’m super grateful!

Took them 3 Days to find out if the bike I ordered was even in stock. I worked in stock control most of my working life and could tell you whether something was in stock with a press of the button, if not a quick scan of the w/h. Then wrote a message on their website which went unanswered. Shame for them because I wanted to add another bike to my order. Tried to phone, no answer! Tried live chat, told them I could not get through on the phone, person on live chat said could not answer the phone because he was on live chat. You are on live chat BECAUSE you don't answer the phone. Cancelled my order because it was going to be 2-3 Weeks longer to arrive than promised on their site. I don't think they stock many bikes they list for sale and their customer service is almost non-existent. They did cancel and refund me immediately, though. Fortunately, I got a NEW TENWAYS bike from ebay and saved myself over £250!! So I am very Happy!

I bought my Cube bike in May from the Nottingham branch and found the whole experience to be excellent. Never having ridden an e bike before, I really appreciated being able to try the bike out along the Embankment accompanied by one of the staff to make sure that I knew how to use the gears and power. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, answering all my queries. I have just taken my bike in for a service and again found the staff friendly, enthusiastic and efficient, my bike was ready for collection after an hour as stated. Really recommend this shop

Incredible service and expert advice
Richard and the team at the Bristol store could not have been more helpful, understanding or patient with us. I’d filled out a form but missed the call, and when we turned up early they took us through the options and then scheduled us in later that day for a test ride. They all looked after us, explained everything and understood we had two bored kids with us. Zero pressure to make a decision then, encouraged us to take time and sent on information later on. Highly Recommend
Recently purchased a hybrid electric bike online. It was delivered quickly and in good order. There was a slight issue with the bike so I contacted the store by phone and spoke to Simon.
The issue was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Simon, who is a lovely, professional and friendly member of staff. Excellent honest service I can't recomend the team at Bristol enough
I had an excellent service from the Electric Bike Shop Bristol, I visited the shop after having a really poor service at another shop where they were attempting to upsell to me. Richard was excellent I explained about the bike I was interested in and my particular needs, Richard made recomendations and we eventually chose the bike for me and made a decision on size etc. Richard ordered the bike and I was contacted a few weeks later to be informed my bike was ready for collection. Time was taken to go through everything with me and the bike was completely setup for me. I could not have wished for better service from the Bristol team. Thank you so much, I can't recommend you guys enough, especially Richard who dealt with me from purchase to me riding the bike away.
