Dear fellow vendors,
I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with Digital River and its handling of payments owed to vendors. My company is owed $30,000 for sales dating back to July 2024. Despite their change of payout terms from net15 to net60, payments remain overdue, and communication from their support has been vague, very generic, and mis-leading.
I know my loss is relatively small, but from what I've seen in reviews and reports, I am not alone in this situation. Many of you may have lost much more, and it's clear that Digital River’s actions could warrant a class action lawsuit. While I am not in a position to lead this effort, I encourage those who are facing similar issues to consider joining forces.
If you are interested in banding together to hold Digital River accountable, please feel free to reply to this post. Together, we can explore the potential for legal action to recover what is rightfully ours.

Digital River stole our July, August and September payments.
It's a scam. New owner (Barry L. Kasoff) stealing all vendors' money.
Absolutely no anwers no support, just radio silence. Support email and chat are handled by AI bots.

We are working with digital river from more then 7 years. They are not releasing payments now and our 3 months money is with them (July, Aug, Sep). They have not released money for all their clients and seems like owner is going to run away with millions of dollars.
DigitalRiver worst company ever
I'm very disappointed. They stopped making payments since July without any prior notice.
Others here were honest about the new contracts, but don't forget they're now charging $185/hour just to interact with AI bots!
Their solution center is hosted on a subdomain of ServiceNow: digitalriver.service-now.com. If you remove "digitalriver" from the URL, you get ServiceNow's website, which promotes "PUT AI AGENTS TO WORK FOR PEOPLE".

Digital River has stolen our sales from July and August 2024, and I fully support Mr. V's view that we should unite and pursue a Class Action Lawsuit. What steps do we need to take to come together on this?
I've heard rumors that they intend to focus solely on large vendors, but I find that hard to believe. How can they maintain the trust of major vendors while scamming hundreds (or even thousands) of smaller vendors who make less than $100k per month?
That doesn’t make sense. The new Barry Kasoff is nothing but a thief. DR claimed 3B$/y which means roughly 200 to 500M$ was stolen by Barry in July August. Certainly, some skillful lawyers would be more than happy to get a fraction of that to conduct our class action.

What are you taking money from my Pay Pal Account for...I have not, got an existing Account with your Company...and can't even remember ever setting one up...Can you please refund my money asap, and from any other years you have also been taking money automatically from my Pay Pal Account...I was just told by Pay Pal you took $129.95 out last year and another $129.95 on the 7th of August this year...If anyone set up an automatic payment on my behalf, it was not me.. I'am a older lady, there is no reason for me to have an Account with you.. I'am waiting to hear back from you..

Not paying clients
I've been with Digital River for 7 years. Like others have reported they simply stopped making payouts. There has been no communication.
From OK to terrible in a few months
We've been with DigitalRiver (MyCommerce) for years, processing a 6-digit number with them in total. They were OK, but now they are terrible.
Among other things:
- their July 2024 payments are now a month overdue (don't expect a late interest fee from them),
- payment time has doubled (previously, max 45 days; now you can wait up to 90 days to receive the payment),
- they will start charging a $100/month fee (on top of the regular fees),
- vendor support is becoming $185/hour (used to be free).
We are leaving. You should, too. Look elsewhere.

einmal abgeschlossen kann nicht mehr gekündigt werden. Zwar kommt eine Erinnerung das, das Abonnement verlängert wird, jedoch hast du keine Möglichkeit es zu kündigen. Es geht nicht über Digitalriver, da die Seite zur Aboverwaltung nicht geöffnet werden kann sowie über die Seite Central Bitdefender unter "Meine Abonnemente" fehlt der Button "Zahlungen verwalten" sowie es selber bei Bitdefender beschrieben ist. Sprich der Kunde hat keine Option das Abonnement zu kündigen. Es wird auch nicht auf Anfragen geantwortet.....
Wurde jetzt dem Verbraucherschutz gemeldet.
Software vendors - avoid the new 60 day payouts and $100/month fee
We've been using DR/MyCommerce/ShareIt for well over 10 years for our software sales. The recent decision by the management to increase the payouts from previous 14 days to current 60 days (which they are already violating as the July 2024 payouts still haven't been sent, even after 60 days), and the new $100/month fee + increased per transaction fees (from Simple 7.9%+$0.90, Blended 4.9%+$0.90 into Simple 8.4%+$0.90, Blended - 5.4%+$0.90) make it a necessity to move away from them as a payment provider. You're not getting any better service for the $100/month, it is probably only worse. And also there is the $185/hour fee for more involved support cases. All this combined makes them the most expensive payment provider on the market, with the absolute worst payout period.
The management has made unilateral decision to make these changes so anyone who is still using them as payment gateway, we recommend to remove the payment links leading to their page, as you're effectively bleeding money at this point with no clear indication when the vendors will be paid out and still payment links pouring money into their system.
We've already chosen a different payment provider, but the approval process takes days, so each passing day of pouring money into the DR pit which we may never see, feels like a nightmare.
Vendors - strongly avoid selling your software using MyCommerce / Digital River.
If the management sees the failure of their decision they may reverse it, but by the time that happens, the damage will be irreparable.
Consider also previous shady business by MyCommerce - 8%-10% currency conversion fees (normally it should be around 2%), we've been warned by our customers that they're getting too high currency conversion fees when purchasing in Canadian or Australian dollars, converted from the base price in US dollars, but MyCommerce justified that because they were not getting fair fees for small volume, when in fact that is the money they've been pocketing, without you the vendor participating in the profit. The latest changes to the Master Service Agreement (6.3, dated in the future 16/10/2024) just adds insult to the injury.
Also, note that in the previous control panel of ShareIt, the Simple / Blended fees were selectable by user for individual products and clearly shown. In the new control panel, the option is hidden and automatically set to the more expensive "Simple" one with no clear indication what is being used. The pricing is also not clearly indicated on their website which makes it even more difficult to evaluate what is the pricing you're getting.
To buyers of products which are still sold using MyCommerce / Digital River sales pages - strongly avoid and pressure vendors still using it to change the provider, as you're not being treated fairly especially when doing currency conversion.

I've been using ShareIt/MyCommerce for many years, but since the changes of policies, we're still waiting for payment for July 24 Sales in October. With no support responses! I hear 100's of sellers are leaving them, avoid!
Don't make payouts as per their own terms
We have been a software developer using the DR services since the days of Element5. We have not received our payment, despite having to wait the 60 days, as per the new terms. DR have been updating and manipulating their master agreements to slowly draw more money form their vendors. Now we have just found a new contract update in the portal, saying they'll be taking $100 per month, without notifying us of the change. No client support number, no vendor account managers and to top it all off, when they do reply to support on various platforms, we are given a generic response, which is copied word-for-word on all platforms. Stop messing around and release the money you owe us.

Take care about the new contract!
Developers who still using mycommerce.com look into your control panel. Under contract library you will find a new contract (6.3) with effective date 16th October 2024. Read "Appendix A" at the end! From the effective date the will charge you USD100 per month. They will also charge you for support requests with USD185 per hour.

I have been selling software with MyCommerce for years. Now they change the terms payment to 2 months (!) after the billing period (in practical terms a license sold the first of the month will be payed out 3 months later !!!). On top of this unilateral change with days of information, they are already breaching their terms, since after 2 months all vendors have not received the money. No information from support (only copy and paste mails). Looking for an alternative for a vendor which is disrupting our bussiness.

I used to sell software with Digital River (previously ShareIt) for ~16 years... The recent changes they introduced were like a kick in the a**.
First of all delay in payments - instead of 2 weeks since month end they extended it to two months, so payment for July sales is pending 30th of September, etc. I was informed about it a couple of days after the normal 14 day period has passed. Interestingly the account summary still stated that the payment is due in 14 days, they just did not act accordingly to own statement. Well, but that's just one example of such behavior recently.
Secondly, they added an extra fee of $100 per month, on top of the margin they take for the sales... which btw they increased for me at some point from 8.9% to 9.4% without annexing the agreement, or even notification. The agreement said the margin is selected upon registration - well, I selected 8.9%. Doesn't matter... they corrected that in the new agreement that "I already signed" a month into the future.
Additionally, they also set the minimum payment to $2500. For me it looks like they need to have some free credit. I am not going to be the last one on that ship.
