Friendly pickup crew & loaded items well.
It was all taken to a storage unit in another city. We were not present for unloading.
Unfortunately some items we instructed to be at front of unit were 2/3rds back
behind large wall unit & heavy side boards. We had to get help to unload unit to get what we needed.
Which spoilt the otherwise great service

We were told that our furniture would be packed up on the Monday, apart from our bed and then everything would be picked up on the Tuesday at 8:30am. We were assured that the pick up on Tuesday would only be a few hours and assumed we would be able to commence the start of our commute to Christchurch. In the end, most of our furniture was packed and placed in the truck on the Monday afternoon. I said that it would be no problem if they took the bed at that time to save them coming back the next day and that we were happy to stay else where that night.. They assured me that it was no problem to leave the bed (they also left a couple of desks etc) and that they would be back first thing - 8:30am the next day. At about 10:30, after several unsuccessful phone calls to Conroy Auckland, I managed to get hold of someone who assured me that he would find out what was happening and get back to us. He phoned back about 11:40 and said he was having trouble getting hold of the driver. At about 12:35, the truck just arrived.  Luckily for us, a friend was at our house and she stayed until the goods were loaded so that we could finally leave. The final straw for us was when our furniture arrived in Christchurch, it was minus our bed and other items that had been picked up the second day. We did not get that for another 48 hours. We were assured on packup that all the furniture would arrive on the same day.

Only: boxes with fragile stickers under heavy boxes, few boxes split, boxes have been heavy handled or happened at sea ( weather was good)

Arrived on time at pickup and delivery addresses, good guys to work with, no problems.

My father has had an absurdly shocking experience with Conroys. We have tried multiple times to sort this out but they do not bother to communicate back with us. They have broken so many valuable and precious items of my fathers. And the worst part! My father is a cancer survivor and had a special mask made specially for him for his cancer radiation treatment, he walked out to one of their movers putting this on their face and laughing and joking about it. Absolutely disgraceful and despicable. As I said we have tried numerous times to sort this out with them and they don’t bother responding. If you care about your precious items or sentimental things, DO NOT USE THESE IDIOTS. I have added Just a FEW photos of the broken items which isn’t not even a quarter of it.

Right from the start we had a great experience with the office staff, nothing is to much trouble for them. The two men on the truck, Barry & Lester did an amazing job they have a great work ethic it was a big job for just two men. They were very friendly all of our boxes and furniture arrived safely. Thank you to Barry and Lester for a great job.

Great communication and everything went as planned. My belongings arrived within the specified timeframe and most importantly, no loss or damage. Fabulous service.

I can’t thank the team at Conroy Removals enough for making my move from Sydney to Rotorua so easy. They gave helpful advice, collected my belongings on time, and delivered them safely to my destination. When I couldn’t be there for the initial delivery, they were patient and happy to arrange a redelivery at a time that suited me. I was nervous about managing the move on my own, but the team was supportive and made the whole process stress-free.

Right from my first contact to the last, every staff member was courteous, helpful and friendly.

They made the job seamless and I know myself and my possessions were in very good hands.

Made contact with Conroy's management to try and sort out poor moving experience amicably. Unfortunately this could not be achieved. They apologized once again for their poor performance during move but that was all. They are maintaining that they moved an extra 20 cubic meters for free. I dispute this but they will not let me measure their trailer with their staff present. Also will not send through management investigation report for me to view. I have spent 16 years working in the freight movement industry which is my background

Excellent experience from the start. Only company that sent someone in person to scope out the job and give advice. Seamless removal and delivery process, including 6 months of storage at my destination. Brilliant communication throughout. Great price too for the move.

Such a professional outfit through and through. Nothing was a problem and everyone was friendly and helpful at all stages. Can’t speak highly enough of Conroys.

Communication was very poor and they made me miss an interview gas lighting me to be on time but they were late themselves.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with the Conroy boys last week - Darryn, Jacob and Ben.  Really nice guys who worked their butts off shifting us to Whirinaki! Nothing got damaged and they placed our furniture and boxes exactly where we wanted them in our new home! Nothing was too much trouble for them. Great team, we really appreciate their effort.

We would like to start by saying that the overall move from start to finish was first class. From the packaging and moving furniture out of our existing property at Beachlands, with Noelene coming ahead of the guys to pack stuff up and the speed with which they emptied the house of its contents was fantastic and we were very happy.

The communication throughout the whole move was excellent and we always knew ahead of time what was going to happen. You did what you said you would.

To the delivery of our furniture at the other end in Taupo, Levi and his boss were amazing. They couldn’t be more helpful and were always smiling while moving our stuff in. The location was not easy and a tight first floor unit to get furniture into. They went the extra mile to move out our old washing machine and put other stuff in our storage downstairs. I thought we might need 3 people to move in but the 2 guys made it look easy.

We would definitely use Conroy again and recommend you highly as a great company with awesome people, with a special shout out to Noelene and Levi (the muscles) 💪

From when Michael came to view the property to the ladies at the office when we needed boxes, to the crew who moved our stuff, Tony, Steve and apologies I forgot the other guys name, they were very careful with our stuff, treated every thing as delicate, and I must not forget the lovely Leeanne who is very friendly when I call the phone. Amazing service and im glad we chose you.

Very smooth transaction. Very accommodating especially when we have to make few changes with the date of pick up and items to be moved. Respond quickly and professionally. 2nd time using conroy, first domestic move in nz and move to Australia. Both very good and we are happy with the service
