I attended Click Hub in Hornchurch. It was a difficult building to find and access. The saving grace was the young lady who syringed my ears. She was charming and put me at ease immediately.

Toddler hearing test
Ben was absolutely wonderful with my son who can be a little shy. He made us both feel at ease during these strange COVID times. I am also hard of hearing myself but Ben speaks clearly - even with a mask on! Great service.

£85 for wax removal in one ear !
I've used Click Hearing a few times over the past few years for some stubborn ear wax removal and their service has been excellent.
However, on attending and having an ear wax removal treatment in one ear i was presented a bill for £85, which is about double the normal rate (in fact the rate for treatment for both ears) !
On querying this, especially of not having been notified to any change of prices either when i booked on the phone, in subsequent email confirmation of the booking or prior to the treatment, i was informed it was due to Covid precautions.
So, i paid up and am leaving this review just to notify anyone about to book to expect a much larger fee ! .... In the meantime i don't intend to return and will find a new practitioner who is open about their prices.

I'm sorry to hear that Mr Lyndon. We're not trying to conceal our fees as you'll see on our website, but I accept we could proactively tell clients of the increase if they are returning from a pre-pandemic visit. The fee was previously £60 for 1 ear and £65 for 2. It's now £85 for one or both. As you have likely already surmised, the reason being an increase in appointment times by 50% to allow for prep and cleaning down as well as the cost of masks, aprons, gloves etc. Certainly I don't want you to feel mislead and I know that we're still very competitive for the service even with the price increase. You'll be welcome back if you do need us

Used this service within the last week, had a serious build up of wax which was starting to affect my hearing, went to the Upminster branch, plenty of parking nearby for £1-50, nice premises and the ladies are fully qualified, you can get this done on the NHS but I prefer to choose the exact day and time. Good website that gives details and prices, you can also book online.
