The. company did everything well, from taking my initial order to prompt delivery

Dish washer delivered on time and the crew realised there was a plumbing problem in taking the old machine out . However they saw what was wrong and quickly fixed the issue and plumbed in the new machine .

Bought a Bosch 50/50 Fridge Freezer in stainless steel from Carter's at Storrington. The staff were absolutely brilliant when we told need we did not need the appliance until our kitchen refit was complete, they offered to keep the appliance in their warehouse until we were ready for it. What service, highly recommend Carter's for your appliances

Excellent service from start to finish. Visited shop after viewing reviews, was not disappointed, the sales person was very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. The Fridge/Freezer came and was fitted professionally, no mess, the fitters were very tidy and explained the minor details. Very good dealer thoroughly recommended.

Local company giving sound advice. Prompt delivery and good at resolving any issues. Not the cheapest, but would definitely use again.

Knowledgable, helpful and friendly

I ordered a Bosch washing machine and a dishwasher and paid in full on the 5th July, the dishwasher was installed a couple of weeks ago but the washing machine not in stock. I waited until the 28th September and was told it’s still not in stock and could not give me a delivery date, they offered me an ex display Siemens and made out they were doing me a favour by charging me the same as I paid for the Bosch (they are the same price) so I cancelled the order that same day,
I called again on the 1st October as not received my refund was told it should be in my account the next day it wasn’t, called again on the 2nd as it was now 5days, gentleman said he would speak to the accounts department that afternoon and call me back. 3pm no phone call so rang again, was eventually told the refund had been processed and to call my bank. The money wasn’t in my account and the bank asked for a number to help find the money, while I was asking Carters for this information the money credited my bank account and the gentleman said oh your bank must have found the money, no Carters hadn’t sent the refund until that moment.
Carters are dreadful at communicating with you, not once did the call to apologise for the long delivery wait or keep me up to date. They also say they’ll call you back and then don’t bother.
The only good dealings I had with them were the fitters who installed the dishwasher.
I’m now getting my machine from John Lewis with a delivery date.
Sorry Carters never again will I buy from you, awful experience.
UPDATE
Mr Carter called me today, I want to make it clear I wasn’t implying I wouldn’t get my money back and have since found out that it can take up to 5 working days to credit my account as both banks need to communicate with each other.
Mr Carter said that I was told the washing machine was out of stock when I placed the order this is not true and my husband who was in the store with me can back me up.
The communication was shocking.

Fantastic service - I had bought a washing machine from Hughes - their installation people were completely unprofessional, lacked relevant skills, and couldn’t handle the job when they arrived, so I cancelled and contacted Carters. Carters immediately found a replacement machine and their installers - Adam and Ryan arrived on time and had completed all aspects of the work (removal and replacement) within 20 minutes. We are incredibly impressed with the skills they demonstrated as they went about the task. They were neat, confident and professional - brilliant service - we shall never go to anyone other than Carters in future.

I have recently purchased a washing machine and integrated fridge. I paid for the installation of both items and I received excellent service on both occasions.
I would not hesitate to use their services again.
The staff were genuinely very helpful in all my dealings.

Delivery was on time quoted, and the guys brought the machine around to the house and carried it into the house with great care (despite the unusual layout of the property). excellent service. Cannot praise the service and staff enough. Absolutely brilliant.
