Suzuki SUV excellent and Romford dealership high level customer service

Have owned Suzuki SZ4 1.0 petrol suv for past 18 months and bought from Romford dealer. Excellent service so far.?

Car is brilliant drive and more economical than my previous Citroen 2.0 diesel - amazing!!

Negatives are the interior is but plasticky and the extra boot cover in rear can’t hold shopping and bends.

Romford Suzuki servicing is very good. Prices are high but not as bad as other dealerships. Service is good from all there and the salesman who sold me car always checks all is good. On third service they replaced a wear and tear part free of charge as said should not have gone so quick..

Overall excellent car, fairly good deal - and at 21k no issues .. very happy to recommend Suzuki car for family and work - even if you do high mileage the 1.0l eco boost holds its own and drives like a bigger more powerful car. Romford dealership team is very supportive and seems wants to keep you happy.

Don’t waste your time

I submitted an expression of interest through the website and had a test drive arranged by the call centre at Maidenhead Suzuki. I was ready to buy. I went to the dealer at the confirmed time then this happened

1. Dealer claimed they had no record of the test drive, this was a lie as I had a missed call from them, they couldn’t have obtained my number any other way
2. Dealer refused to honour the test drive and blamed the call centre
3. Dealer claimed it wasn’t worth it as there was a 4 year waiting list, then they said a 2 year waiting list, obviously making it up and basically leaving me feeling unwanted

So I went and purchased a new Jeep instead which is a far better car and they know how to treat customers.

Call Suzuki First .........rather Call Suziki LAST

A Royal mail van crashed the back of my Suzuki Vitara while it is parked in my driveway. Royal mail is willing to accept full responsibility for the repair & will provide me a courtesy car. As my car is still under finance, I’ve Call Suzuki First to give me an advice. They told me they will sort out everything as they gurantee that it will be repaired by Suzuki trusted garage & ignore any calls from Royal Mail representatives. Everything went fine, I was provided with a new 2018 Kia Sportage as a courtesy car. After 2 months of waiting, my car is finally done & they ask me to pick it up in their Greenwich London garage. I refused & demanded it to be delivered in my house & charge Royal Mail if they want. So, after a week it was delivered & after a thorough checked, I am not satisfied with the work done. The passenger side of the rear bumper which take most the impact was repaired but a hairline is visible which for me cause a problem in the future. Aside from that, more scratches, masking tape marks & the inside is full of dust. So my car wasn’t look after. I refuse to receive it from the driver. Another month passed & my car was delivered. Hairline was repaired, inside & out is partly valeted but scratches are not. I just want to finished as I missed my car😭. After 3 days, I found out that the plastic tie that holds my fuel cap is damaged which they did not bother to repair. And 2 bulbs (parking & brake) are busted. They replaced the cover as it was damaged but didn’t checked the bulbs. Overall, I should have let Royal Mail to do the repair, but I let Suzuki do it as they ensure that a TRUSTED garage will fix it for me. But it its not the case for me......

Had 2 suzuki cars great.. aftersales average

Had 2 suzuki cars . Both brilliant no faults..
A few yrs servicing could be thrown in though like other manufacturers.
Your dealers are poor though. Ackworth was terrible. They just want your cash.... york was ok the 1st time.2nd time they didnt do what i wanted.and dealer parts price?? spark plugs £147 at dealer,same on autodoc ,£49

Suzuki Blackburn

Thanks waheed for all your help in me buying my new used swift, (I LOVE IT). Thanks to all the sales team aswell, fantastic service. The aftersales cannot be faulted. All the team will go out there way to make sure everything is perfect for you. If your buying a used car don't delay go to SUZUKI BLACKBURN all the experience is out standing and decent price too.

Couple of faults but delt with to satisfaction

So far . So good . I have only had cause to contact the service after sales twice , but both times I can say I have been plesently suprised . I was expecting a battle as seams to be becoming the norm in recent times but I must say . It went very smoothly each time and each time I was left very happy. The fact I had to actually contact after sales for problems in the first twelve months is a different matter but even the best of product can have a problem develop . I thought two a bit much but again at least solved to a satisfactory standard .

Refused to replace damaged parts within warranty

My 2014 Suzuki S-cross within warranty period broken down; RAC assisted at site, found that battery is damaged and need to be replaced. They started the car with external battery and suggested to go to nearest dealer to get it fixed immediately. I have to keep the car started for an hour and drove long enough to keep the battery working till next day when I have to start it to Service centre.

Next day On checking,JEM SUZUKI said battery is perfectly alright so can't replace. They didn't care about how a battery within warranty period stopped functioning the day before and had to charge externally. I have handed over the detailed report from RAC saying what happened, what was their test result and suggestion Suzuki service still didn't bothered.
I doubt the credibility of their testing and am disappointed in customer service offered by Suzuki through JEM.

My warranty will expire in 2 days they're trying push 2 days forward so that they can charge me for the battery.
Will never trust Suzuki any more..

Tried to con me

I took my car for its annual service to Suzuki, Sittingbourne, Kent. I was advised that my car had an oil leak, which would cost me over £850 for Suzuki to fix. As I had not noticed any oil leaking from my car, I took it to two reputable garages to have it checked out. I was told by both garages that there wasn't an oil leak at all. Therefore, I will not be taking my car to Suzuki again !
