I've been really happy with the value for money the PR for Books marketing push delivered. My books were featured in London Mums Magazine, Motherhood Moment, Kiddicharts and First News. Which is amazing! A really professional service with friendly staff and support provided throughout the process. I'd highly recommend PR for Books.

PRforbooks, is great! Nicholas is quick at replying and he definitely understands what I'm wanting to achieve. I made a wedding planner, with the wedding market saturated with planners already, to make mine standout is going to take effort. By the second press release I have secured editorial within a major wedding magazine. I am delighted! I would recommend Nicholas all day long.

This is the "Close Encounters for the 2nd Time"..with PRforBooks. My first venture with them proved to be a smooth operation and I was impressed indeed with the care, consideration and professionalism I was offered compared to a very negative entangled association with online AMZ Marketing, which came to nothing but chaos for me....for them: "stealing my money" but not delivering. Nothing could be more opposite..in comparison: like Good vs Evil. I recommend the team and Glenn @ PR of Books if you are looking for a reputable company who can handle your requirements and most important DELIVER very quickly. I had very little feed back from this company. From the beginning I felt that it was a scam. At most times I was never kept in touch about anything. I always had to ask them what they were doing for me.
Occasionally I got some things coming back from obscure companies. Nothing of any importance. Some of these companies were asking me to support them.
In the end this man Glenn told me that my work was more or less rubbish. That was after I told him that I didn’t rate his services very highly.
I have written 60 children’s stories. Six books have already been published. A seventh is at the publishers now. These books are very good quality with lots of coloured illustrations. They’re not self-published books.
Despite that this company were very rude and a complete waste of time and money. Go somewhere else if you want to market your books.

The guys at PR for Books have been nothing short of brilliant. They have kept me in the loop at all times as to what the next steps were, and what they put together for me promoting my book has been first class. I have written a sequel to the one they have promoted for me, and I’ll be using their service for that one too. Highly recommend these guys.

I contacted PR for books as I wanted to get more publicity for my recently published book 'Police to Paranoia' Glenn was extremely quick at getting back to me and provided an excellent summary for the media release. It was very professional and treated my story with the respect I hoped for.
Since the release, and within a week I was contacted by a journalist for OK / NEW magazine and have since done an interview with them which will be published in the next few months. It couldn't have gone any better. I 100% recommend PR for books. A very professional, efficient service that gets the results you need. Can't thank you enough.

A Great Caring and Effective PR Service. I have used Prforbooks for several years to promote my Book and not only are they very cost effective but they get excellent results.

I am writing in response to the one star negative reviews concerning Prforbooks.
I must say that my experience just like others that have posted could be understood to be a waste of time and money, but this is just not true.
What true PR company would bother to respond so passionately to their customers woes?
I have used Glenn and his team in the past, and for a £ 200 punt into a book you have probably poured your heart and soul into is not a bad investment.
My first mailshot from Glenns team resulted in a negative response, but it only takes one busy editor or overworked assistant on the end of a computer to be interested. That's called LUCK and not how brilliant you or your book is. If a person opens a restaurant at tremendous financial risk and nobody turns up, you change the menu to suit the client.
So please give this company some credit for the hard work they do. They are professional, they are masters of their craft. So if your book dosent get to where you want it to be, just write, write, and write again. If it's good, it will get noticed in the end.
In my case they did notice in the end, so please support this company, as they do not deserve negative comments.

As a working journalist and now also an author, I was keen to secure a competitively priced, as well as sensible UK/EU publicist, for my award-winning non-fiction true crime book BETRAYED (by Hachette, Australia ISBN 9780733648601) which was fortunate to get a second-wind limited UK release in mid-2023. Prforbooks provided me with excellent and highly responsive feedback, terrific advice and a contact list to die for. After their media release went out, I was contacted by a range of journalists, producers and pitchers all keen to pursue the book's story. Finally, in terms of value for money: you absolutely cannot beat the price. Publicists I looked at were quoting me a thousand quid a week, with no more of a guarantee than "they'd do their best". Prforbooks and Glenn/his staff do more than their best; they do their utmost for you and me, the author, and better still they deliver solid results.

Great service from Glenn and the team. They are really quick to get the releases out and each time I get featured in the press or on the radio. I've been in UK & Irish National Press, BBC radio and featured on several podcasts in the UK and America. Great value and highly recommended.

Glenn and the team are highly professional and always deliver. I've worked with the team across a few books and their writing is excellent, and I've been able to get some fantastic outlets covering my books as a result. I wouldn't hesitate working with them again.

Other than copies of "we're not really interested / not our type of book" etc responses from what appears to be a general-mass emailed contact listing - i received nothing from PR for Books. For a full Trilogy i was expecting some feedback...however: NOTHING, zilch, nada...not a sausage.
...and then absolutely NO follow-up!!! NO contact? NO real "assistance" at all. Even the high-resolution copies that i sent through were copied-on SO poorly as to look just amateurish!
It's not that i would tell anyone else not to waste their money - that's entirely their choice. But i would suggest that there are better ways to spend that money to actually generate sales!
£195 may seem very reasonable - but you have to sell a LOT of books to make that nett profit!

PR for Books has been absolutely solid and dependable. They have afforded me great help with my various publishing projects and the staff members are always extremely prompt and helpful. If I could give six stars I would. Ten! They seem to have the best access to a wide variety of outlets, allowing your work to get the greatest exposure. I was contacted by many media companies after my novel, Belfast, with Dinosaurs, 1979, was published last year (2022). Subsequently, my work was featured in major media outlets. I had a full-page spread in Sunday World and a review in The Belfast Telegraph. Etc! So, two thumbs up to PR for Books. Brilliant service!

So, I never even managed to get past the first hurdle. having contacted them three times, zero response. Then finally got a reply. Sorry we don't deal with that particular genre. Which is Gothic Horror... although they state ... No matter what type of book, we have the contacts and expertise to reach out to the media and get them interested in your book.
So I can't actually give you a review of their services, other than they talk the talk on their website...But that's about it, well in my case anyway.

I stick by my comments... you have a bold statement on your website. No matter what type of book, we have the contacts and expertise to reach out to the media and get them interested in your book. Try being accurate and true to your sales pitch. Looking at your other one stars reviews; others have had the same response, sorry we don't promote that genre. And as for my comments on getting no reply's, well that seems to be an issue as well on the low star reviews. Furthermore, its not spiteful, it's truthful. I haven't lost anyone money, or paid for a failed service/campaign like other users, so I have no reason to be spiteful; but perfect reason to pass on my experience.

So far a confident 4 stars, the work they have done on my book, CRUISE SHIP HEIST. As things are going it could get better. I had my first radio interview in just days after the PR release. LISTEN yourself on BBC SOUNDS - GAYLE LOFTHOUSE BBC RADIO LEEDS 8/8/23 1040hrs to 1057hrs. PR is essential, writing the book is less than 10% of the work, it is just where the hard work starts. Well done PR team... cruise on!

IF you are an author and feel you really need a helping hand to spread the word about your potential "best seller book"... and no crime to feel hopeful!... you could not reach for a better source of support than PRforbooks. Glenn and his experienced team can produce a PR release worth its weight in gold..yet you will not be closing your bank account for their efforts. Very reasonably priced and personally engaging; so helpful you feel totally in the loop.They make their very best efforts to understand your project and your aspirations, and are quick to answer any and all of your inquiries..This is SO not normal in the world of PR!
