Dependable and consistently good service. It's nice to come home from work and have the yard look nice without having to pull out of our equipment to do it ourselves. Between the heat and all of the rain this summer, it was beyond difficult to keep up with our yard work while working full time jobs and taking care of grandbabies. So thankful to find dependable and affordable lawn service.

I was very pleased when I arrived home to see how nice the yard looked!! The edging was clean and well defined...a feature that is very important to me. I like a manicured look and this week is what I got. Well done!

LAWN STARTER IS A SCAM NOBODY CAME TO MY HOUSE TO DO A LAW OF LAWN CARE , NEXT THING I RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES AND EMAILS CLAIMING SOMEONE DID MY LAWN ON THE 10TH I WAS IN my home no one came to do anything lawn treatment even lawn mowing first the price was $79 they cancelled now they have been texting $33 which no service was rendered .

As a first time customer, I was greatly disappointed with LawnStarter. Signed up for the 3-visit package. First appointment was set. LawnStarter sent me a confirmation with provider's information. Appointment day came, I sent my provider a text in the morning asking for a head's up when they were on their way. No response. After 3:30 I hadn't heard from the provider, I called LawnStarter. I was told the providers work from dawn to dusk. When I asked for a time frame, the representative couldn't give me one and told me to give the provider at bit more time. About 6:30, I received another text saying my appointment had been cancelled and was rescheduled to a different day and time - which was not convenient. I made another call to LawnStarter and told them what had happened. Was then told that this happens and was asked what day would be convenient. I reiterated that I was a new customer and didn't feel this was a good start. The LawnStarter representative said she understood. Re-scheduled for another day with a new provider. The night before the new rescheduled appointment, I sent the same request to let me know when they were on their way. No response. Mid-morning of the day of the appointment, I received a text saying my appointment had been cancelled AGAIN and rescheduled for another day. I immediately called LawnStarter and cancelled all further appointments. I explained my experiences, told the representative how disappointed I was with their service. The representative offered to send a "top provider" if I re-scheduled. This prompted me to ask if I had been scheduled with poor no- show providers? The representative stuttered. Once again, I told her to cancel my 3-visit package, IMMEDIATELY. She said she would send me an email confirming my request. I asked that she also send me a text as well. As of this writing, I have not received either. One star is way too generous....

The company provides good service and responds well to changes.

I signed up for Lawn Starter two weeks ago. They assigned me what they called a PRO To come mow my lawn. I gave them my address, informed them I had a dog also. The PRO texted me saying he'd be by on a certain date. The date came and the PRO CANCEL to the next day(Saturday). Saturday I get a notice from Lawn Starter they have to find me a new PRO. That was last Saturday I have heard NOTHING from Lawn Starter. You call and only accented people answer and you can't understand them. Save your self a headache and DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. Hire a real Lawn service, this company sucks!

I am a lawn specialist and Botany Consultant. I signed up for lawn starter today. Thinking I can use the stack method to get my business going.( I signed up for lawnlove as a provider. I never actually used the app, but just signed up.) My account was approved with lawn starter, but when I went to access the app to explore and see how it works. I was sent an error message. I reached out to customer service only to found out that both LAWN LOVE & LAWN STARTER are the same company. Speaking with the lawn love rep, she informed me of the reason as to why this error was happening and it was because my lawn love account was paused. She then had me confirm a few things and the account was "unpaused" cool, right? No! I went back on the app after the account was unpaused to re-enter my banking information and that's when the problem comes. The system flagged both accounts (Lawn starter) and (lawnlove)completely shutting them down citing duplicate info.

When I reached back out to customer service I was giving a bunch of this and that that made no sense at all. I was told that both accounts can not be opened nor can I ever sign up as a provider in the future. I am writing the review for the purpose of informing everyone that BOTH "LAWN START" & "LAWNLOVE" are the same company and if you sign up as a provider on both apps, you will be barred from using the platform.

After three years as a loyal customer, I expected reliability and meaningful recognition of that commitment from LawnStarter—a privately held company owned collectively by its co-founders Steve Corcoran, Ryan Farley, and Jonas Weigert, along with various venture capital firms. What I received instead was a pattern of operational failures followed by a token response that felt dismissive.

I have experienced eight consecutive reschedulings of my lawn service. The result is a yard that has gone weeks without proper maintenance: tall, overgrown grass and weeds crowding the mailbox, spilling into flower beds, creeping along the driveway edges, surrounding trash cans, and pressing against fences. The visual impact is clear from multiple angles—close-up views of uncut blades and neglected borders that no homeowner should have to tolerate after paying for scheduled service.

Customer service representative John (Customer Service / Supervisor, Case Number 15011606) was polite and helpful in handling my complaint. I appreciate his professionalism. However, the decision to credit my account only $15 after three years of loyalty leaves me unsatisfied and disappointed. That amount does not reflect the inconvenience, the repeated failures to deliver on the scheduled service, or the value of long-term patronage.

LawnStarter markets convenience and quality. In this instance, neither was delivered consistently. A privately held company backed by founders and investors should treat loyal customers with more than a nominal credit when service repeatedly breaks down. I remain hopeful the company will improve its scheduling reliability and its approach to customer retention, but based on this experience I cannot recommend it without strong reservations.

Prospective customers should weigh the risk of multiple reschedulings and limited remediation against the convenience the platform promises. Long-term loyalty should be valued more highly than a $15 credit.

Excellent customer service and great job performance

Went through 3 pros over 2 weeks only to have 2 of them straight up no-show and reschedule at the end of the day because they take on more work than they can actually handle. Customer service is garbage and not helpful at all. LawnStarter keeps retaining "Pros" that are unreliable and just take jobs that they otherwise cannot accomplish when they schedule it.

Very good job with attention to the small details. I'm very satisfied with LawnStarter's service.

This makes using a reputable company easy. I get pictures after my service so I can see the work done. Being that I live a distance from the house, I appreciate the pictures and ease of contact with my yard pro. Very good service.
