Absolutely zero customer service
Absolutely zero customer service. Do not buy anything from their online store as there is absolutely no feedback about when items will be shipped, nevermind arrive so you will most likely be left disappointed as I am when they do not arrive in time. Emailed to ask for an update on dispatch but not heard anything at all. Avoid this place!

Visited lapland Manchester 25th November it was magical from start to finish 3 adult 2 children, I can not say a negative thing about our experience, from the decoration,the elves,special effects the activities the performances, it was all amazing down to every little detail ,and father Christmas our 2yr old sat and spoke with him for 10 mins (Santa spoke her language) he also remembered names and what things they liked to do it was magical,we took all our food and drinks so no queuing more time looking around,plenty toilets and seating, honestly we had an amazing 5hrs ,a day none of us will ever forget,and that is worth more than money and when a 13 year old says he's to old for Santa then at the end says that was amazing thank you that was all we needed ❤️ thank you to everyone at lapland Manchester you delivered us an amazing experience well done 🥰
Not worth the hype or money
It was fine. Like a good experience but not worth the money. For almost £500 mid-week you would hope that your children felt special by the end but the elf before Santa at Ascot kept forgetting the kids names and most of the elves dotted around didn’t really say much except the same greetings over and over again. Not really impressed sadly.

Horrendously run organisation
This is absolutely disgraceful, our booking for the 26th of November has been cancelled, they said all booking from 26-29 had been cancelled due to 2 attractions having major issues, we should have received our tickets yesterday and when I chased them for the tickets today, they eventually sent me an email informing us that our booking had been cancelled and we will receive a full refund and also a guaranteed allocated date of anytime next year, my children want to go now, not next year, we’ve just wasted money for the hotel we’re currently at. APPALLING

Enjoyed the day but ordered photos online and nothing come through! The money has been taken from my account which also paid for the day on Saturday. Tried emailing and no response. Very anxious for this as the rest of the day and experience was great.
Disappointing Father Christmas!
I feel fortunate to have booked for the day after storm Claudia, I really do feel for all of the families who were evacuated. I can’t imagine how devastated the children must have been.
The check in area was wonderful and the children were in awe of everything. The setting is done very well and the elves did a wonderful job. The toy factory and bakery were both wonderful experiences during the day. Unfortunately the elfin village experience felt very rushed after long queue’s to go ice skating for 10 minutes, it didn’t leave much time to enjoy all of the different elements before going through to see Father Christmas.
The reindeer’s were a little disappointing and I really do think that the reindeer food should be included in the ticket price with the amount it costs!
The woodland to Father Christmas is magical. Unfortunately that’s where the magic ended really, Father Christmas managed to get our two boys (4yr & 7yr) names and questions mixed up. They’re too polite to correct him and went along with it, but it definitely has left our eldest questioning the magic after hearing the usual rumours beforehand. So the experience had the opposite effect to what we were hoping for. We were then lead through to the shop where we queue’d again for 30 minutes to get our photograph. After all the magical entry the exit is very underwhelming, even our youngest was expecting to go back through the magical tree! Not just to walk through a back door out of a shop.
I’ve since filled in the feedback and sent an enquiry to express our disappointment, I know after storm Claudia my emails will be in a long list of complaints and in comparison ours seems trivial. Over a week later we’ve still not had a response.
In the past we’ve always seen the same Father Christmas and enjoyed a personalised experience locally for only £30, spending almost £800 with all the additional extras I wish I’d just saved this towards a trip going to Lapland! Disappointed.
Late invitations …
I have been trying to get confirmation of when our invitations will arrive. We’re travelling from Dublin in 5 days. Hugely disappointing. We’re being completely ignored. It’s far too much money to spend for this unacceptable level of customer service. Awful

We went to the Ascot one in November 2025 and honestly CANNOT fault anything at all!
We took a 7yr old and a 9yr old, but even the two big folk thoroughly felt the magic of Christmas being delivered by EVERY staff member! They do a superb job to keep up the elven energy all day and we were there late into the evening.
A few things we wish we knew before:
1) The ticket time is your ENTRY time. You can enter the outdoor “lobby” area 45 mins before
2) Wear wellies/ boots if wet as it will be muddy on parts of the trail
3) The site is FULLY no smoking or vaping
4) Water is sold in small cans for £2 each and you cannot take in your own food or drink of any sort (unless preauthorised by them)
5) The whole experience takes around 4.5 - 5 hours so bear in mind when booking your time
6) We are glad we booked a 17:30 slot, as the lights made the experience that much better than I imagine day time would be.
7) There’s plenty of it indoors and plenty of shelter if it does rain, so don’t worry
8) Father Christmas is right at the end, so if your small folk are impatient like mine were, just bring their attention to the part you are at. You are entertained the whole way through, so there’s always something for them to focus on.
9) Try to go with more than one big folk. You will need to be away from the child(ren) at certain points to let staff know certain information about the small folk and collect “secret” things.
Safety
We were impressed by how much staff there were patrolling the areas. If your small folk get lost, do not worry! They will be safe and if you’re in the village just make sure they know where the Post Office is - that’s the safety meeting point.
Money
This is not a cheap experience by any means, but it is evident that the owners have tried to keep everything quality and authentic, which adds to the experience. We must remember that this is seasonal and if they didn’t charge so much, they wouldn’t be able to provide the same superb experience year after year!
Found out after and missed out:
Jingles (elven currency) after taking the survey for our review, they asked “Did you purchase any Jingles?” Where? How? Why did we not know about this? It would have been great for the small folk to have Jingles and not just the “magic card” we usually use. They always tell you how much things are in Jingles but we were not aware you could buy actual Jingles!

On line store …..what a shambles
After paying over £700 on 4 tickets, jingles and an advent calender and then £200 on misc merchandise my experience so far has been shocking.
I placed an order for £200 for various merchandise on the day the on line store opened in in plenty of time and in anticipation of our visit tomorrow the 22nd November
After numerous emails that were ignored I received an email yesterday saying I would receive my goods today the 21st, the day before our visit, only to find that 2/3 of the items I ordered missing and to put the boot in my order is showing as fulfilled!
The worst thing s they’ve sent the Big Folk hats and not the small folks hats so we can hardly use them whilst the children have none and m reluctant to buy them when we arrive as I don’t have much faith that I will be refunded for the missing items
I am now dreading trying to sort out this mess but I want to enjoy our day at LUK tomorrow and not let this debacle spoil my day
LUK seem to have got their on line store and customer service very, very wrong.
I feels like I’m dealing with a scam company
Hopefully our visit will be as magical as the videos I’ve seen

Credit where credit is due,
Our expieience at LUK Manchester was superb,
The attention to detail was Disneyesque, timings between areas were very good and never felt rushed.
I found the food and merchandise to be excellent value
I will do a glowing review soon.
It was so good I (nearly) forgot about my online order mess and yes I did buy most the items that were missing from my on line order delivery as we would look daft wearing elf hats whilst our granddaughters went around with no hats
Fingers crossed I get my refund for the missing items which comes to over £110
Discrimination
Tried to book 2 tickets for my husband and I to go to Manchester. Not allowed to book tickets for 2 adults without adding any children on. Why? We don’t have any children together but that doesn’t mean that we don’t want to go and experience Lapland. We’ve done a Christmas visit to somewhere every year since we’ve been married as I proposed to him on his 40th birthday which is 5th December and we went to the delamere forest lights experience and had our photo taken with Santa and got a cuddly toy despite us being adults. We’ve done similar things each year since. Always had photos taken with Santa and got a toy. We have them on a shelf with a tag to say where it’s from. Discrimination at its finest. Not impressed.

Absolutely shocking customer service, the worst I have ever encountered. They ignore emails and just don’t respond on Facebook! i have messaged on Facebook, instagram and sent over 20 emails, I’ve used the contact form on the website 4 times and I am honestly so disappointed that a company which charges £800 for 4 tickets cannot respond to an email. Avoid avoid avoid! Absolutely disgusting the way they are treating people at what’s supposed to be a magical experience.

What an amazing experience from start to finish, they brought the magic of Christmas to my children. I was dubious as always attended the Ascot event, but the Manchester experience is incredible, the attention to detail and care for the kids is second to none for every Christmas event.
Very poor customer service and…
Very poor customer service and responses to emails. Very disappointed at how late they sent the hats out causing lots of people including myself stress (reading social media page). Hat arrived 4 days prior to going with a label on for £16. We got charged £19.95 for the hat and had to pay delivery on top.
Got told if it didn’t arrive in time, then we could just get the hat on arrival and no postage would be refunded.
As magical as the place is, I don’t think it’s worth the hassle!

My only negative would be the reindeer food open to the children to make into bags the way it’s set out you would think it’s free something for children’s to do just before going in to see Santa but it’s actually £6! Very awkward to then put it back and felt forced into purchasing

Don't order from their online shop.. They have taken my money and have not responded to any email regarding delivery after two weeks of ordering. I have even tried for a refund,( which hasn't happened.) There is no telephone number, or no way to reach customer services (Which there is none!) This is a money making Xmas company, who doesn't care as long as they get paid.
Magical day at Lapland Ascot
We had an amazing time at Lapland ascot.
Everything was magical ,stunning props and well organised.
It all flowed nicely,nothing felt rushed .we felt like we had plenty of time in each section and didn’t feel overcrowded.
My 3 year old didn’t take in the story telling in each section but he enjoyed watching the performances.
Can’t comment on food prices as we didn’t eat there .
My opinion is you get your money’s worth ,(we went Monday 17th November,cheaper than a weekend )the toy given by Santa was high of quality and the secret bear you collect at the end was equally high quality.
Came away believing that it was all real.
We stayed at premier inn Bagshot after our visit ,only 6minute drive .

Customer service just doesn’t respond. We ordered extra invitations and they never turned up. No reply despite several emails, no response on social. No number to ring.

Awful! Went to Manchester on Friday to be the most magical day. Went in with an 8 year old believing got kicked out just before Santa with an 8 year old who’s now not believing!
Before the evacuation it was still rubbish. Theatrical and in a glorified marquee that was just so obvious. Rushed through the rooms and can’t listen to the shows as you get 5 mins to complete a toy and cookie! They knew the storm was coming so should’ve closed before hand! Considering it was an emergency for our safety everyone was shipped out 1 exit through a shop that you could still buy things before leaving to then be in a car park for 1.5 hours with no staff to be seen!
And now we are left with no responses to emails and no we don’t wash to rebook! Children left with no gift, nothing! Shameful and disgusting service! I would say don’t waste your money!
