Perfect Service and had no Problem with the car

It was super quick and easy to rent a car. The car was nice and clean and it was overall a really quick experience. Typically with car rental companies there always some sort of 'gotcha', but there weren't any with Jucy. The insurance was reasonably priced.

Ease of setup and drivability. I’m 183cm tall and I fit easily in the smallest van. It was a 2003 van but everything worked.

This is my second van with JUCY and I would definitely recommend it.
Registration process is smooth and when you drop off the van, they don’t rush you to leave, you can chill there for a bit until you figure out where to go

I had a really good experience overall. The customer service was friendly and helpful, and the pickup process was quick and easy. The car was clean and well presented when I picked it up, which made the whole experience even better. Everything was straightforward and efficient, and I would definitely use the service again.

Once we received the campervan, the staff was incredibly helpful in helping to plan our roadtrip, offering honest and valuable opinions regarding different destinations. He also was thorough in his instruction and explanation of how the campervan works. While I don’t exactly remember how to spell his name, the gentleman in Auckland whose name started with a K was so kind and we are grateful to him for helping make our trip to New Zealand as wonderful as it was!

If you have three people DO NOT rent the chaser. The middle seat in the front is very uncomfortable. It should not be advertised as being for three. Thankfully we were able to trade it in for a condo, which was much more comfortable since it has two seats with seat belts in the back. Overall we were happy with our experience, and knew since it is a budget company, the van would not be luxurious. We had good experiences with customer service though were frustrated that when we rented the first van, we were not told that the heat can not be run when plugged into power, and that we could rent a space heater (we were traveling NZ in July). When we traded in for the condo, we rented a heater. Should’ve been offered initially!

Having spent days searching for the right rental car company, I knew I'd made the right choice with Jucy. Affordable, easy booking and pickup and they ensured I knew where everything was in the car.

We had an electrical failure on our big Kahona Camper, without electricity for 4 days, not satisfied with the refund we got.

This is the ultimate crooked company. I received a parking ticket for stopping (not even parking) in the amount of $70 NZD, and I was informed by the agent. However, Jucy charged an additional $80 NZD to inform me about the same ticket. Their service is terrible. Their cars are old and poorly maintained and they will try to milk you as much as possible. Don't rent from them.

I would not recommend JUCY Campervans. In my experience, their vans are poorly serviced and maintained. When problems are reported, the company denies prior knowledge instead of taking responsibility or resolving them properly. Given the safety, reliability, and customer-service concerns, I would choose another rental provider.

Agents straight up lied. I called them up, and asked if rental access was a refundable fee. I walked agent through what I meant six times, and he kept assuring it was refundable and encouraging me to purchase. I was skeptical - asked for a refernece number which he refused to give me. Asked him six times to send an email. Which he claimed he'd sent but never arrived. Reconfirmed email five times with him, and still it never arrived.

Then finally found in terms and conditions a note saying it's a non refundable fee. Agent then admitted that was the case. Had I booked I'd have turned up and been charged hundreds more than I'd expected. Normally I'm forgiving of mistakes. But I had him assuring me there was ZERO chance of a hidden fee. Again and again to make a sale.

I'll never buy from this company again.

EDIT Finally received the email which contradicts what i was promised on the phone. And the agent lied about his name on the call too. Reporting to Obudsman.
