Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The swimming pool was clean, spacious, and perfect for both relaxing and having fun with the family. The food was delicious with a great variety every day – from fresh breakfasts to amazing dinners. What really stood out were the activities available – there was always something going on for both kids and adults. Our children were entertained with games, crafts, and mini discos, while we enjoyed live shows and fitness classes. A perfect place for a fun and relaxing family getaway

Hotel is fully enabled for the 4th industrial revolution with giant 5g masts using very advanced technology in this new technological age combined the internet of things and the internet of bodies. Maybe these towers should be showcased on the images of the hotel but they are not, hmm i wonder why. Anyway, like some unlimited internet is throttled. If you eat too much on your all inclusive deal, the technology here will block your stomach and make sure you can't eat, and it will make you feel sick. This is likely why people feel ill here and your stool samples show up nothing. You can fool some of the people but not all of them. It's a shame because the hotel is beautiful and the staff very friendly and likely unaware. Greed knows no ends. The hotel was iberotel costa mares. Never again
Jaz Aquamarina - health and safety
The hotel and staff are overall great. The entertainment and variety of food and drinks are acceptable. But there is a major concern that the hotel management/guest relationship hides behind “cleanliness certificate” to avoid any responsibility of food poisoning. Such a huge hotel cannot ensure 100% food safety, and they have no resources of their own to ensure customers are taken care of in case of a mishap. The 3rd party clinic on-site charges predatory prices for issues that would cost 1/10 anywhere else in EU, just because the tourist is insured. There is also no transparency about the costs upfront, so you are faced with the bill after the fact. In the end these high amounts raise the premiums and the excess still needs to be paid by the customer. All together 2 people got sick from our group, and we are frequent travelers across EU and Asian. As well as repeat visitors of Jaz Hotels - but this is the first time we have experienced this. Overall if you don’t get sick it’s a good time, but if you happen to get sick on your trip - you are on your own and hotel takes no responsibility .

We stayed in Jaz pyramids resort, Giza, Cairo from 24/03/25 till 30/03/25. Rooms are bit outdated needs lot of improvement, we have stayed in Jaz Hurghada
2 years before, better hotel location and services.

The big rip-off is they charged USD 140 to pick up from Airport which we booked through the hotel, but later we found out Viator provides the same van transfer to the Cairo airport through Emo travels charged us USD 48. Never ever book any taxi service through Jaz Hotels.

Just came home from a lovely relaxing week holiday, stayed at the Jaz beach hotel.

Every member of staff couldn't do enough for us there so happy and friendly.
Food was lovely what you can expect being fully inclusive.
Cleaned our room everyday, Clean towels and beach towels also.
We will definitely be returning to this hotel....

What an amazing hotel. Beautifully clean everywhere. Staff cannot do enough for you, they were great, always smiling & happy.
Food was exceptional.
Breakfast..fresh ommlettes & scrambled eggs every morning.
Lunch at either the beach bar or pool bar, pasta, burgers, sandwiches & Beautiful deserts.
Dinner lots of good choices. Different every night.
The sea is very shallow on the beach for miles, you cannot swim in it.
Just 1 bad point, some of the evening entertainment staff were very rude especially 1, young girl Sophie was very rude just because we didn't want to get up & join in. She pointed her finger at us & called us boring English people. I have tried to complain but with no outcome. She has no customer service skills what so ever, just wants to look pretty on the stage.
Other than this I highly reccomend this hotel. We will be returning next year.
Jaz Elite Maraya - Mars Alam
Premesso che cercherò si essere più preciso possibile senza dilungarmi troppo.
L'Hotel Maraya fa parte del Jaz Group. In Mars Alam è situato in un grande Resort che comprende anche altri Hotel del medesimo gruppo (Lamaya, Samaya, Dar El Madina etc.).
Senz'altro il Maraya è situato nella parte migliore, fronte oceano, è il più nuovo, ed è quello più elegante di tutti gli altri. La formula è All Inclusive, nel vero senso dell'espressione. Ricomprende quasit tutto. Del "quasi" mi riferico al centro Spa o ai piatti serviti in alcuni ristoranti che sono a pagamento ma ben in evidenza.
L'Hotel è maniacalmente curato e pulito. Potete trovare il personale che constantemente si prende a cuore di ogni minimo aspetto, dalla psicina al giardino, ai pavimenti, alle sdraio ed ombrelloni/tende solari sino ai vetri che sono splendenti quasi non si vedono per quanto sono puliti.
Il personale è estremamente accogliente. Sono sempre pronti per soddisfare ogni tua richiesta.
Il ristorante è ampio e offre molteplici varietà di pietanze, dalla cucina internazionale a quella locale. Gustose anche le pietanze che vengono servite a bordo piscina e al ristorante Sea Horse (sempre compreso nell'All Inclusive ma bisogna prenotarsi) sono gustose.
Il mare è a due passi anche se non c'è molta spiaggia ma quella che esiste è più che sufficiente per godersi un panorama mozzafiato.
Ci sono due piscine molto grandi per gli adulti ed una più piccola per i bambini. C'è anche la possibilità di utilizzare l'Acqua Park presente nel medesimo Resort a 100 metri dall'Hotel Maraya.
Quindi il mio voto per l'Hotel Elite Maraya è senz'altro positivo in tutti gli ambiti.
Da buon pignolo però non conferisco la Lode per alcuni aspetti fastidiosi ma comuni in Egitto e che consiglio vivamente di lavorarci sopra se si vuole mantenere lo standard di un Hotel a 5 ***** stelle e garantire un servizio impeccabile serio e professionale. Le mance non si chiedono o in alcuni casi si pretendono (e non è carino avere risposte negative se in quel momento sdraiato sul lettino non si ha il portafogli con sè). Inoltre non si può chiedere al cliente continuamente di cambiare le monetine od dollari in lire egiziane o in euro. Il cliente non è un "exchange di valute" e non può essere richiesto continuamente. Lo trovo poco serio e professionale. Spero che su questi due aspetti, gli unici negativi che posso sottolineare, si lavori per fornire all'ospite una vacanza da ***** stelle.
Per il resto invito a chi non avesse già soggiornato a Mars Alam di visitare questo Hotel. Consiglio vivamente!

Vi var på Jaz Aquamarine hotel i Hurghada fra den 29-1 til 5-2-2025.
Vi oplevede super venligt personale flotte omgivelser og ikke mindst havde vi en god ven i Mohamed Nagah som gav os den ypperste gode service med rengøring på vores værelse og sørgede for vi hele tiden havde det rigtig godt.
Vejret var fantastisk maden var god. Alt i alt en virkelig god ferie.

Früher mit 4 Sternen bewertet, jetzt sogar mit 5 Sternen.
Das Hotel ist eine grosse Anlage mit 2/3 stöckigen Gebäuden. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, Viel Grün mit viel Aufwand sehr gepflegt. Die Gebäude und Zimmer ebenfalls. Zwei Pools, der eine ruhig, der andere mit Animation. An beiden Pools gibt es Bars.
Ebenso eine Abendbar neben der Lobby mit Musik-Veranstaltung
Zusätzlich Spielplatz und Kinderbetreuung und Wellness. (Kann ich allerdings nicht beurteilen).
Das Personal ist superfreundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Hotel liegt in Makadi-Bay. Transfer vom Flughafen ca. 1/2 Stunde. Nicht weit zum für das Hotel reservierten Strand, allerdings nicht direkt.
Das Essen ist lecker, allerdings nach gewisser Zeit wiederholend, wie überall. Zusätzlich kann man diverse Restaurants besuchen.
Allerdings ist das Hotel sehr gepflegt, aber in die Jahre gekommen. Wer modernste Ausstattung wünscht, könnte ob der 5 Sterne beim Erstbesuch enttäuscht werden.
Diese Bedenken macht das Hotel/Personal/Ambiente aber mehr als wett.
Nicht umsonst hat dieses Hotel einen sehr hohen Anteil an Stammgästen.

due volte in un mese nello stesso posto?? certo che si, quando trovi una struttura impeccabile, non ha un difetto. Accoglienza e simpatia del personale, camere pulitissime e grandissime, velocità nel room service 10 minuti, cucina eccelsa, mi han pure fatto il tiramisu a richiesta, mare indimenticabile, spiaggia pulitissima, i camerieri ti accolgono sistemandoti gli sdrai, portandoti bevande di ogni genere, animazione discreta ma presente, ragazzi attenti alle esigenze di ogni cliente. Varietà nel cibo, nulla a che vedere con gli altri Jaz,,il crystal è il top. Grazie a tutti i ragazzi dell'animazione, ai nostri camerieri Mamdoh gazer, Waleed elsify, eslam bedir che ci han coccolati con mille accortezze. Un grazie al general manager Nohail, al direttore reception Khaled e a tutti i componenti. Torneremo presto.
Jaz Fanara Hotel
I stayed in Jaz Fanara in early December 24, great place, room good and cleaner excellent, food was varied, great pool and staff, particularly the Brummie waiter in the pool bar/restaurant, he couldn't have been more helpful. I also liked the ice cream and lollies available. The beach was good, could have done with a lift back up, lol.
Things that could have been improved were, a lack of bins around the pool, more signage (I didn't find out there was a hot tub, till the last day) the food could have been warmer and because of the wind I got hit in the back by a window blowing open, so we jammed the table in front of it, regretfully the same happened the next day. I didn't see a menu for the Italian restaurant. (surely there should be one on display outside, to see if you fancy it ?)
However, these minor irritants, won't put me off, I'll be back next December.

Iberotel Palace, Sharm El Sheikh
Iberotel Palace, Sharm El Sheikh is absolutely amazing. Our first adult only hotel and definitely won’t be our last visit there. The place is immaculate, lovely gardens, beach is beautiful and clean. Special thanks to Ayman for your attentiveness on the beach, he always came to see us make sure we was ok. No sellers on the beach, other than a man and his camel everyday, but they didn’t really bother you. Just a very relaxing place.
Amazing fish so close to the shore too. You can pay reception $10 each bottle of water and a fizzy drink included in that price, for a 5-10 minute boat ride to the hotels private beach where you can stay for 2 hours, walk out a short distance into the sea and the water drops off to about 30 foot so you can snorkel. We have been to Egypt many a time, but we saw fish here we have never seen before. The staff of the beach were very attentive, didn’t expect to be tipped but we did anyway.
The main hotel is lovely, reception always smells beautiful and clean. Food in all the restaurants is lovely and hot. All the staff wherever you go within the hotel are amazing, extremely helpful, never expecting tips but very thankful when you do. The bar staff are forever bring popcorn, crisps, nuts to you with your drinks. Free crisps and ice creams at the beach bar during the day too, all you got to do is ask.
The staff in the Blue Marine restaurant are fab, special thanks to Momen Mohamed, Sami (restaurant manager), and Mohamed Arafa the sous chef. They all went above and beyond to make our mealtimes pleasant and relaxed.
The rooms were lovely and clean, fresh towels everyday, etc.
literally just across the road is a shopping arcade, which is lovely to walk around at night, felt very safe. The mosque is such a beautiful building, especially at night time. We seriously can’t fault anything at all, this is the first time we have ever said we will go back to the same hotel next year!
Whilst we were away we read some bad reviews, and was very unsure as to why people were writing them. Things like, didn’t find out about the free ice creams or crisps till the last day! If that’s all people have to complain about they need to get a life. We had no issues with the staff being rude which is something else we read, I do believe sometimes people moan for the sake of it!
If you are thinking about going to Sharm seriously consider this hotel, you won’t be disappointed at all.
Jaz Sharks Bay Hotel
This is our 2nd visit to this Hotel it is a little out of the way so Taxi is needed to go anywhere but its only 15 minutes from Airport. A warm welcome is received when you arrive. Observations from our 2 visits, 1 end of September and we have just come back home from our 2nd visit on 1st December 2024 All staff from Cleaners to waiters, chefs, reception and grounds men are all very polite and friendly. Animation team are ok in daytime but lacks entertainment in the evenings. Restruant food stills needs improvement a new head chef was appointed while we were there and by end of week small improvements could be seen and on the last day of our holiday our Lunch was very nice. Snack bar is what it say - Pizza and Burger and chips. Pool is lovely and clean but lack sun beds. There are a few shops and brilliant Salon which offer manicures, pedicures, eyebrows facials and hair. You do pay up front when booking but don't let that put you off Safa and Huda are lovely people and its their Salon, they are very good in all fields. I have had my hair Restyled, Coloured and Highlighted on both of our visits so if you stay at this Hotel pay them visit! Overall Hotel still needs some improvements but we came back because of the staff, the pool, the weather and to have my hair done and rooms very clean.

Not a five star. Hotel is very tired, broken and chipped tiles everywhere. Rooms are very dated,the bedroom furniture has been painted to try and hide the wear and tear. The bedding is old and the beds need updating. Internet is shocking. Food is average at best. Staff were good.

Beautiful Hotel but Serious Health Concerns
August 2024
We recently stayed at Jaz Aquamarine for a special family celebration, including a 30th, 40th, and an engagement. The hotel is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds, lovely pools, and a great location. Most of the staff were excellent—friendly, attentive, and hardworking. We’ve travelled extensively, visiting Egypt six times as well as other hot climates like India and Thailand, so we are well-versed in international travel. However, our experience at this hotel was marred by some serious issues that I feel compelled to share.
Unfortunately, 16 of us became very unwell during our stay, suffering from severe vomiting and diarrhea. We were not alone in this; many other guests also reported similar symptoms. Despite being well-traveled and usually healthy, we found ourselves very sick, which affected our holiday. We were advised by the hotel to visit the chemist just outside the complex, where we were charged £60 for medication. Later, another guest recommended a local mall where we obtained four lots of the same meds for just £10. The pharmacist at the mall even questioned why we had been given such strong antibiotics.
When we raised these concerns with the TUI rep and guest relations, we were blatantly told that no other illnesses had been reported, despite knowing that several guests had already reported being unwell. This dishonesty was very disappointing. We were offered an alternative hotel, but this came at an additional cost to us, which we found unacceptable given the circumstances.
The TUI rep also suggested that we visit the hotel doctor. After explaining that we could not afford this, he assured us that our insurance would pay upfront. We were considering this option until another guest warned us that she had been charged a substantial amount just for a consultation. To make matters worse, we were told that we would need to take our 6-year-old granddaughter to the doctor in person because he did not do room visits, even though she was very poorly, suffering from embarrassing accidents when she couldn’t reach the toilet in time. Another member of our party, a 10-year-old boy, also had multiple accidents and was deeply embarrassed.
The hotel did conduct stool samples for half of our group, but the others declined due to embarrassment. All of the samples that were tested came back negative, though my results never came back at all. This illness left us completely drained. While we did get to enjoy a few good days with the help of medication, it’s important to note that we paid for an all-inclusive experience, not to spend our holiday taking medication and staying in our rooms eating crisp sandwiches.
The guest relations team sent fizzy drinks, bananas, and crisps to our room and offered room service if we needed food, but none of us had an appetite, and we were scared to eat.
In addition, we found it nearly impossible to book the à la carte restaurants due to the size of our group, even though we had paid in advance at the time of booking. There were also disturbing incidents, including a man having an accident in the pool, a worker being carried out by two coworkers appearing unconscious, and another guest witnessing a staff member vomiting while on duty. After we reported our illness, we noticed a sudden increase in the cleaning of the toilets, which indicated an underlying hygiene issue.
It’s a real shame because the hotel is beautiful, and the staff are generally excellent, but there is clearly a significant problem that needs to be addressed. We paid a considerable amount for what was supposed to be a memorable holiday, but instead, we ended up eating crisp sandwiches most nights, afraid to eat much else.
I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements because this hotel has the potential to be truly outstanding.

We have just returned back from a 2 weeks stay here.
My personal opinion would be if you are English I wouldn’t bother, I did not feel catered for food wise I did not expect bacon and sausages for breakfast as I am aware of the country I was visiting but even beans and us to have beans on toast would have been nice.
Rooms would do with some updating, broken bathroom tiles just mastic sealed over.
The service from staff was hit and miss unless you weren’t English or gave a tip to obtain a good service. I am a strong believer in providing a good service to all and if you are to get a tip then it’s deserved.
Our cleaner was the best making my daughter little animals with the towels and would always check in in an evening to make sure we were happy absolute credit! And would be the reason for the 3 star review.
Comments were the same between the very few English holiday makers that they didn’t feel catered for and wouldn’t come back. The le’carte restaurants were a nightmare the book into unless you were up and crack of dawn to book on.
I know all the above sounds like massive negative feedback but outside of this we did have a lovely holiday but wouldnt go back just purely based on the food choices.
