J’ai voulu essayer iTop vpn car l’offre pour trois ans était alléchante, si on sait, se servir de ce VPN, il n’y a aucun souci.

Je l’utilise principalement pour mes jeux vidéo multijoueurs et les serveurs sont très stables, sauf que la bande passante quelque soit le protocole la bande passante est pas terrible, mais le Ping c’est-à-dire la latence est excellente, c’est le principal. Petite remarque, le VPN fonctionne très bien sur mes PC Windows, 11 et 10 mais sur macOS Tahoe le VPN se connecte, mais ne charge pas les pages Web. Sur macOS, le VPN est inutilisable. J’ai envoyé les logs au service client et ils ont pas vraiment su comment m’aider. J’ai été sur l'IA et il m’a dit de changer les DNS du wi-fi et iTop vpn fonctionne du feu de Dieu. Dommage que le service client ne soit pas très réactif. Je dois attendre 24 heures pour recevoir une réponse. En tout cas, n’hésitez pas à acheter ce VPN car il est très efficace sur Windows et sur Mac puis sur iPhone.

Pour les DNS choissisez en un bon il y a pleins de choix en terme de DNS.

Il faut aussi désactiver le pare feu ou autoriser iTop dans le pare feu de mac os.

Do not use this for Windows 11 it does not work with high resultion screens. You get icons twice and sometimes 4 times as big as used in Windows 11 and there is no solution for it. As waste of time and money

I purchased a paid subscription for iTop VPN on Windows, expecting stable performance and no ads. Instead, I experienced frequent connection drops, unstable speeds, and intrusive advertising — even though this is a paid product.
For a VPN service, reliability and stability are the most important features. Unfortunately, in my experience, iTop VPN fails at both. The connection often doesn’t work at all, and when it does, it can disconnect unexpectedly.
I cannot recommend this service to anyone looking for a dependable VPN. Very disappointing experience.

Purchased a 2-year subscription by mistake on October 5, 2025 (5599 RUB). Realized the error immediately and requested cancellation/refund through their cancellation section and support.
Timeline:
Opened chargeback with my bank (Sberbank) right away → denied because "service is provided in full".
Contacted iTop support: told to wait 30 days due to "pending funds".
After 30 days: "funds not received" → advised to contact payment processor (they confirmed funds went to iTop).
Then: "wait 120 days from activation".
After 120+ days (now 140+ days passed): offered "additional features" instead of refund.
Insisted on refund only → last messages ignored for 7+ days.
Subscription still active, no cancellation, no refund.
Their official Refund Policy clearly states 30-day full money-back guarantee for all subscription plans. They violated it completely with delays, contradictions, and ignoring requests.
Sent formal claim to support, media — no response. Bank refused chargeback again.
This seems like deliberate evasion. I do not recommend iTop VPN — poor support, misleading refund policy, and bad faith handling. 1 star only because the app might work for some, but customer service is unacceptable.

My reply to iTop VPN’s latest response:
Thank you for your reply.
You directly stated:
“In this case, we will not provide any evidence and will notify our partners about the need to refund the funds.”
This means you yourself acknowledge that a refund of 5,599 RUB is required and are ready to initiate it.
I request a full refund of 5,599 RUB to my original card within 7 days, along with confirmation (transaction ID or screenshot).
If the money is not received by March 15, 2026, I will continue public disclosure of this case and further escalation with the Hong Kong Consumer Council (Case No. 301/113963/2026 is already under active review).
I am waiting for confirmation of the refund.

Update as of March 16, 2026:
It has now been 5 months since the purchase.
iTop VPN has still not returned a single ruble.
After their public reply on Trustpilot (“we will notify our partners about the need to refund the funds”), I contacted support the same day — complete silence. No reply, no refund, no confirmation.
They continue to ignore all messages, even though they publicly admitted on Trustpilot that the refund is necessary.
The money has still not been refunded.
iTop, return the 5,599 RUB to my card. This is no longer “support” — this is clear fraud with your own money-back guarantee.

After more than 5 months of fighting, iTop VPN finally returned my 5,599 RUB.
The money was received via bank transfer.
However, it took an incredibly long time, many ignored messages, contradictory answers and pressure from the Hong Kong Consumer Council (Case No. 301/113963/2026) to make it happen.
If you are thinking about buying from iTop VPN — be prepared that getting a refund (even when they promise 30-day money-back guarantee) can turn into a real nightmare.
The refund was eventually made, but the service and support were terrible.

Zur Info vorab: Habe mir eine kostenlose Version "eingefangen", d.h. ich habe Itopvpn nicht bewusst installiert, kann aber auch nicht 100% ausschließen, dass ich irgendwo bei einer Installation oder einem Update eines anderen Programmes mal ein Häkchen übersehen habe. In einer älteren Antwort (2023) von Itopvpn wurde damals auf die Zusammenarbeit mit ioBit hingewiesen, deren "DriverBooster" habe ich kürzlich mal aktualisiert.
Nun aber eigentlichen Grund meiner Bewertung: Ich verstehe, dass ein Unternehmen mit seinem Produkt Geld verdienen muss und gerne längerfristig planen können möchte. Entsprechend ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass mir als Free-Kunde an zahlreichen Stellen das Upgrade von "Free" auf "VIP" für 1, 2 oder gar "2 Jahre + 11 Monate gratis" nahe gelegt wird. Was ich aber überhaupt nicht leiden mag ist, wenn ich als potentieller Kunde für dumm gehalten werde und versucht wird meine Kaufenscheidung durch künstliche Limitierung oder sonstigen Zeitdruck zu forcieren. Der Weg über Sonderangebote, bei denen ein Counter eine schwindene Anzahl Gratisgeschenke (für eben diese "11 Monate Gratis") suggerieren soll, wo aber der Counter letztendlich bei 3 letzen Geschenken stehen bleibt, ist einfach zu primitiv, insbesondere wenn sich der Counter beliebig (z.B. durch löschen der Cookies) auf den anfänglichen Random-Wert zwischen 102 und 130 Gratisgeschenke resetten lässt. Bitte erspart mir so etwas.
Der Fairness halber sei erwähnt, dass ich keinerlei Erfahrung mit der VIP-Version von Itopvpn habe und sich meine Bewertung daher nur auf die Werbung und die Art wie man sich das Programm ungewollt "einfangen" kann bezieht, die eigentliche Leistung des Programmes kann ich nicht seriös bewerten, hier bitte besser an anderen Rezensionen orientieren welche eben die Leistung und nicht die Bewerbung bewerten.

I have moved my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.
It took a while, some emails were sent and via my payment provider correspondence was fine, and everything refunded. It should not have happened and it took a bit longer than expected.

The product isn't to bad to be honest, and I do like it, it is a pity the database wasn't installed in a different format, as I would like to use the dualsafe password vault with linux too.

I cannot in all honesty with the vendors response and full refund, say that I like the product and keep the review at 1 star, I will set it a 3 stars and advise caution. (3.5 would suit me fine)

These people renewed a subscription after I cancelled it, they took the money after cancelling and ironically the product remains inactive reminding me it should be renewed,

Not to be trusted, if they reactivate cancelled subscriptions this is an act of fraud.

My complaint is with the recorder. I had been using the Screen recorder for quite a long time now, the Paid Version LIFETIME LICENSE, they asked me to UPGRADE their new one, I did but I paid for a NEW VERSION which is IDENTICAL to the one already in my possession! I IMMEDIATLY request a refund given the absolute silliness of paying AGAIN for a LIFETIME license that at this point is a joke. In 2 requests by my registered email I HAVE RECEIVED ZERO ANSWER, beside the Screen recorder is not so incredible, I WONDER will they answer me and REFUND me given their 30 days refund guarantee??? for now a STAR until they rectify and refund me for this useless upgrade.

THE COMPANY HAS REFUNDED ME IN FULL.
I always appreciate when a software company refunds you proving they are honest and loyal to their customers.

Downloaded Smart Defrag from Major Geeks..all of a sudden without permission (or any boxes to check) completely changed every thing about my computer desk top, task bar added screenshot, voice recorder..WTF!?
completely disrupted my day....trying to figure out what happened....I Top?....what is this?....couldn't close windows, etc.....by the time I found out who and what...the parasite(s) and host (Obit) were both permanently "evicted".....what a WASTE of my time

This program is scareware Other programs from Iobit spams my computer with commercials and "warnings" that my IP and personal information is supposed to be exposed on the internet. OF COURSE my IP is visible, that is how data from the internet is sent to MY computer and not just a random computer! AND I USE A VPN SERVICE, so NO, my personal information is NOT exposed on the internet as Iobit claims!!!

i have itop screen recorder and they limit the key. i had a few pc problems and had to reset it i few times . Now my itop screen recorder key wont work and i cannot use it. I connected support and no answer it takes ages for you to use your software. hopeless support so slow.

Very Old-School company. Just like in 1999, if you download a trial version of one of their products you get all of their products pushed down your thoat. As an extra you get 'reminders' in the form of pop-ups and they automaticaly create shortcuts in lower task bar.

1 Gb of software, just to try their Driver updater, (which is capped at 1 driver update per day).

Even IF the product I wanted to test is fabulous. I will never hand 1 cent to this company as long as they act like the obnoxious classmate from middle school.

I do not know i find to of your software installed in my computer without my consentement.

Ich habe online den ITop Screenrecorder gekauft nach ablauf des Bezahlvorgang wurde wieder die Webseite von ITop angezeigt aber weder per Mail oder online Rechnung, Bestätigung oder eine Lizenz übermittelt. Nachdem ich den Support kontaktiert habe wollte dieser aber genau diese Bestätigung um aktiv zu werden. Trotzdem ich ein von dieser Onlinebestellung ein Video habe wo dieser Fehler zu sehen ist gab es keine Unterstützung und so habe ich zwar bezahlt aber keine Lizenz erhalten.

Danke für ihre Antwort. Ich habe natürlich auch im Spamordner nachgesehen und auch dort war und ist keine Mail mit einer Lizensnummer.
Den Support habe ich schon mehrfach kontaktiert und auch immer eine Antwort, unterzeichnet mit Joyce, erhalten. Leider geht man auf das Problem oder Fragen gar nicht ein sondern es ist immer die gleiche Antwort, die nicht vorhandenen Bestätigungen zu senden, so das man den Eindruck bekommt das diese Antworten KI generiert sind. Ein Versuch die Ursache für diese fehlerhafte Bestellung zu finden und das Problem zu lösen findet nicht statt. Ich habe es daher aufgegeben weiter mit dem Support zu kommunizieren da es überhaupt nichts bringt und nehme zur Kenntnis das ich 49.99 Euro bezahlt habe aber die Lizenznummer verschwunden ist. Mein Ziel war es ja nicht eine Rückerstattung zu erhalten sondern eine Lizenz um den ITop Screen Recorder nutzen zu können. Da dies leider nicht möglich ist, ist das Thema für mich abgeschlossen leider negativ und zu meinem Nachteil.
