Main gripe 10 minutes to get served a permanent queue of approx ten people whilst I was there.
Not enough staff.
Very poor.

Not bad. Coffee is okay but nothing special at all. The place was clean, and service could be better to.

Store in Borehamwood Tesco Extra upstairs is dirty, tables sticky, mirrors with hand print were there weeks, the kids highchair not clean, under the table were all breadcrumb or leftover underneath. Services are general good and friendly staff.

This company want to be ashamed 4 years ago a store manager spoke to my partner with the upmost disrespect my partner at the time had received news he had cancer the gent serving him used skimmed milk my partner asked politely if he could have semi or full fat milk explaining his taste buds have been destroyed by chemo & radio therapy a female spoke out of line arguing with my partner he was not welcome and he had used full fat milk and said I will refund you or a take out shame on you this gent as cancer ! She got reported ! 4 years later we visited what we thought would be a chilled out stop to be approached again by this awful manager who told my partner a take out or a refund and because I questioned why her attitude was so bad and I asked her position and I said I’m shocked to hear a SM speak with such disrespect and there is no need to be so power headed and I gave her some advice with being a SM myself you should never ever start an argument with a customer but she continued to fuel the fire as when I said I will report you her reply was he already tried that I’m still here ! OMG To cut a long story short 4 years on and still a vile attitude I questioned why I was being asked if I want take out or refund ? Her reply your not welcome too WOW ! I reported her some how this store manager who did not know me from Adam found my personal details my company received a letter of complaint regarding myself so I questioned Costa and thought I had a right to investigate especially with an individual I do not know never met knew so much information about me to receive a reply from Costa head office saying we was not welcome back in this store Sorry Costa do you think we want to return to this store ! I did open another complaint because I feel I have not had any answers or proof just an email basically saying case closed ! And when you read the local reviews for the store St Peter’s Avenue Cleethorpes there are a few customer reviews commented on staff rudeness poor customers you really are NOT valued !

Quite a few pensioners in there. One or 2 very old ones with hoodies who sound like Phil Mitchell.
The barista was not very friendly. Coffee is okay,large size which is good in this day and age of financial crisis.

Upon leaving I thanked the barista, who was looking at his mobile phone. He looked up then didnt acknowledge me. Rude ! I don’t like him and will not go there again.
Is it because of my slight eye disability,, or my age ? Or both? Anyway it won’t costa me again

If allow no star, I am more than happy to give a zero, visited Costa Coffee at Borehamwood Tesco (Extra) every Saturday with my friends, saw an app on my mobile 2 sweets for £4.00, when I ordered my usual Bap and Mocha, and used the 2 sweets offer, it turn out £12.89????? Normally, Bap and Mocha (with cream), cost me £6.59, with the special offer, should be £10.59. I have asked the staff, he told me not allowed to use 2 OFFERS at the same time, this is the reason I have to pay the Mocha and Bap in FULL PRICE!!! I have asked him to cancel my order and he said he can't and too late??? What a biggest con for me, seriously! What is the point to give SPECIAL OFFER OR AWARD???? Then charged you more, the employee should advised customer before the purchased, any training given, yes, con your customer with more spending. Also, I have noticed, they never cleaned the mirrors, all the hand or fingers printed are over it, under the table, all the bits underneath, they do not sweep under the table. Never have any salt or pepper available, sometimes even running low on sugar or sweetner. What a joke to call coffee shop! Is this company have supervisor checked regularly?

I thought a reward would be something good and to my advantage. Costa Coffee sent me a reward of £1 off food. Sunday morning walked into Costa Coffee, use the reward when buying two coffees. It turned out that by using this app it cost me dearly.
The two small coffees and two rounds of toast with butter would have cost me £9.98 as a promotion was already in place at Beckenham, Kent store. However, I scanned the QR code I had downloaded earlier: The cost was £13.75 (normally £14.75). This is a warning to be very careful when offered a reward (as they may have a better one illustrated on the revolving advertising board) that you are unaware of.
I was disappointed at Costa Coffee at offering a lesser reward - but lesson learnt !

I don't understand why some people rave about going to Costa. Their "unique blend" consists of Arabica and the cheaper Robusta beans, hence the bitterness. They then have the nerve to charge extortionate prices. Customer reviews mention corporate greed and I couldn't agree more. The branch my friend and I used to visit always had long queues, indifferent staff and uncleared tables. Surely they can't always be short staffed. The latest round of price increases was the final straw. We now go to the nearby Tesco cafe which has superior coffee and a lot cheaper or a fabulous family run coffee shop around the corner which is nicer, cheaper and the smiling staff actually appreciate your custom. Having a coffee in town doesn't have to mean patronising the big boys, have a look around, you might be pleasantly surprised by what's on offer.

Ordered a gift card online to be delivered for a birthday . Took over 2 weeks to arrive . Dreadful service won’t use again .

I went to the Costa in Macclesfield (by the big Aldi) this weekend. Being a curmudgeonly gentleman of a certain age, I wasn't expecting great things from the team of youngsters, but they restored my faith. Hard-working, attentive, and very helpful and understanding when this old fool spilled his grandson's "baby-ccino" over his daugher-in-law's panini... Really excellent experience, thank you. (Oh, and a decent cup of coffee too...)

Got to say in general since coca cola took over Costa there has been a significant decline. Drinks do not seem to be made with love as much and very overpriced but now there are many places offering better for less money. Additionally, food prices are so expensive and these are often not premium products. Have to agree it feels the corporate greed has taken over.

In the shop in Halstead, Essex I have begun to notice that the team demonstrate ageism. It's a pity, and this lets them down.

Just visited the Leyton Mills branch such a beautiful young lady called Fatima served me made me a cappuccino 1 shot not too hot just the way I love it with sprinkles

We visit Costa Coffee most Thursdays we find the one at Roundswell business Park very clean the drinks and the food are excellent Mat and his staff are excellent. I’ve always got a smile and have a chat when they’re not too busy, which is not very often because it’s busy Mat and his team keep clean. The tables are always cleaned off and being an ex lorry driver. I found all the amenities very clean.

Just been to Tesco Birmingham road Stratford Upon Avon Costa Coffee. Great food , fantastic iced coffee, brilliant service and clean and tidy. Thank you to April, Dorris and the team for keeping this branch out favourite Costa in the UK. Nicki and Cliff. Merry Christmas.

Failure to create a good dry cappuccino, even though they said they knew how to do it. This is after a bad experience approx a year ago. Thought I’d give them another chance …. They failed again. Coffee was left undrunk.

What annoys me is that staff take 1 order & do someone else’s order.
Now I could have gone and bought some instant coffee and boiled a kettle way quick then your slow staff.
And for a large latte £4.15 begs to differ

I ordered 2 e-gift cards on the 28th of November and dispute emailing them I’ve not heard a thing.tried phoning but there phone is no longer in operation.ive checked my bank statement and the payment had gone through.what else can I do. Very disappointed with this treatment. I’m on first name terms with the manager in out local Costa so all I can do is see if he can sort it for me.
