Really well packed, really lovely communication between them and me, it works PERFECTLY!

As a business Cash Converters is very ethical in that if you are not happy, for whatever reason they will gladly refund you in full. I have dealt with the various branches and find them courteous, friendly and always helpful. Recommended with 5 stars.
Looking for a fishing rod in Telford Store in Wellington, Ben shop supervisor gave me the best offer going, and a great deal was completed, no hassle from any staff, they let you check the shop out no bother, came to picking the right fishing rod was an easy experience, couldn't fault Ben at all, the discount made it all the more better from him..
PS You can haggle with the staff, there is always room to barter with the staff.

I have made a total of 45 purchases with Cash Converters over the years, and overall I have found them generally to be a decent company and have therefore rated them on Trustpilot accordingly.
However, I cannot say that with their Bethnal Green branch I have recently had anything like a good service.
I bought a pair of expensive headphones (just over £500) from Cash Converters, Bethnal Green, on 5 May 2024. In their advert for the item they stated that they were "as new" and "never used".
Imagine my shock & disappointent therefore when I received them a couple of days' later to discover that two of the accessories inside the box were missing and the three leads had quite obviously been unwound for previous use. So, their "as new" and "never used" statement was evidently based upon a blatant lie.
As these were to be given to a close friend whose birthday it was last weekend I had to therefore go out on Saturday and buy yet some more headphones to give them as their present.
I sent back the bought-from-Cash Converters headphones immediately - and despite Royal Mail informing me that the item had been returned to Bethnal Green - I am still awaiting for my £500+ refund. So that is twelve days that they have had and clung on to my money.
I was told that their store has just been renovated which, they say, explained the lack of communication and the delays. It was as though they were attempting to pass on their problems to me! I had to contact Cash Converters' Customer Service each time I needed to get a message to Bethnal Green, and that's the way that communication has had to be made for almost two weeks. It may have been quicker to have used either carrier pigeons or semophore.
As I write this I am still without my refund... one would have thought that with the (many) problems caused by Bethnal Green, they would have jumped immediately to return me my money, especially as I am such a good customer, having spent thousands within their branches. But no, they prefer to sit on my cash and blatantly cause me yet more problems.
Some companies well & truly deserve to thrive. However, I cannot say the same about Bethnal Green Cash Converters... they have let me down severely and are letting down badly the rest of their group.
So I ordered a portable hard drive for my son as he wanted to order it for his birthday and while I'm at work, I get a message advising that my order has been signed for by (my name).
I wondered how I can sign for something when I'm not actually at home, so I contacted Cash Converters for a response. After not receiving a reply, I contacted them again and they apologised for "missing" the first Email and would contact the courier to find out what happened with it.
Despite further Emails to them to find out what is happening, I am hearing nothing at all and I am disgusted by this service.
I am seriously considering never using them again and sticking with other companies.

Was welcomed very professionally.

Possibly the worst customer service from any retail establishment - all overseen by a dismissive manager who condones ill-behaved staff (not all) like a dad with feral kids who can do no wrong.
It a paying customer dares to question staff conduct, the manager immediately accuses them of being rude, rather than acting in an unbiased manner.
Staff are allowed to damage goods that are being purchased, are encouraged to physically intervene when a customer is inspecting an item for sale and supported in giving unsolicited, incorrect legal advice.
Makes a used-car dealership look professional.

No pude hacer la devolución porque solo dan 15 días, soy enferma crónica y estaba muy débil. Ahora intento que me manden información para poderlo enviar y que al menos arreglen algo, pero me hacen envíar emails una y otra vez y no me dan soluciones.

I love buying and selling at this store, and hate customers who dispute their own misgivings. No one holds a gun to anyone's head who visits cash converters to sell items. Cash converters can only afford to pay so much for the subsequent payments they issue within market value, and categorically state this beforehand, and some customers still return the next day to accuse staff of ripping them off. I often hear angry young men claiming to have been ripped off on this basis and disputing their loss with staff outside my local branch after selling items on their own accord the previous day, and feel annoyed about the stupidity of folk. People have a choice, yet still continue to blame cash converters for their own misgivings.
I pawned a couple phones due to passing off my wife I paid my monthly fees in time but they sold my main phone and destroyed the sim card with all my photos off our times together saying it was my responsibility to let them know I had paid my bill a simple phone call email or text would have allowed me to get the phones back its a pathetic way to mislead genuine customers and very disappointed to say the least will never again use this company please be aware
Comprar en Cashconverters es quedarte solo ante el peligro. El soporte que dan que debe ser básicamente a través de redes sociales es pésimo.
Personas poco resolutivas y/o con pocas ganas de trabajar.
No vale la pena, además los precios ya no son lo que eran, son precios muy cerca de su pecio normal, incluso he visto herramientas por ejemplo más caras qeu comprándolas nuevas, otro indicativo de la poca o nula profesionalidad de esta empresa...
purchased a mouse from these and charged it to full now these mouses batterys are suppossed to last at least 1 mnth with lots of use,
this was used and desrcibed as vgc, well guess what the mouse lost 10% charge without using just switched on so with no use., it will last 5-6 hours if its being used,then has to be recharged for 2 hours!

The staff at Birkenhead are professional , polite the attitude was a welcome change in todays stressful times , thank you all at Birkenhead .
