I went in to my local cash converters in Hull city centre and the staff was extremely helpful but the one dealing with me was absolutely fantastic very polite and did everything he could for me thank you very I couldn't ask for a better service the staff member who was dealing with me is called Ryan 😀 he deserves 10+ start rating

Today i was compelled to write a review on the amazing customer service and overall experience that I’ve had in cash converters,Stratford. Everytime I enter this shop I’m provided with such respectful and helpful service that is really refreshing for me in this place. Today I was helped by the manager, he was such a nice helpful young man who cater to my needs which was really helpful in helping me choose a phone. This shop is truly amazing in catering for your needs and provoking excellent service

Absolute con artists. They just enable stealing for profit. We were broken into by a drugged up ‘friend’. We knew what he took and were it went, it was his pattern. I gave CC very detailed info on what he had taken and traded in, including dates and his full name. They denied it….., 3 months later - our property was listed on their website. Was enough to get our friend prosecuted for the burglary but nothing ever came of CC. And all we got was $100 payout for $1000s stolen. CC knowingly enable crooks and should be shut down

Not a good company to use.I purchased a Aiwa record deck from here.Set it up ,then found the stylus was knackered.I purchased a replacement from Amazon.Then the next day I seen the record deck was still up for sale.I commented this on the page . Mentioned the stylus problem to them.There reply was bring it back for a refund.By this time the Amazon stylus had arrived.I told them about the new stylus,no reply.The message was opened there end.No decency to reply.So it's a no no from me.

Be aware!! Cash converters Scam!
When I & my wife kept our golds for pawn in Newark cash converter branch they said, its daily interest rate & interest rate is 8% per month. This is properly written in my contract as well- thats why i signed the contract.
When i went to retrieve my gold back after 20days, they are putting 10% monthly interest(2% extra) and they are saying it wont be daily interest rate and also they are putting hidden charges of £45 - these were never mentioned in my contract.
They are doing this kind of scam with consumers.
With my contract proof, now I am proceeding this consumer cheating matter legally through my solicitors to sue!

They really need to sort there website 4 time's now I've tried to buy something and just as you pay an error occured on each different item over last few month they take money out my bank but order doesn't go through then I'm stuck waitng 3 to 5 days for my money back it's ridiculous! needs sorted, I'm not using them again

Esta es la segunda compra que les hago en su web , la primera compra de un pc portátil de 540 euros , vino rota la pantalla , tuve que poner una reclamación en PayPal para recuperar el dinero ,por qué es imposible contactar con ellos por ninguna vía , ahora dándoles una segunda oportunidad les compro otro pc por su web el sábado pasado y pago el envío urgente , hoy es miércoles y no se nada de si me han enviado el paquete o no , solo ahí una forma de contactar con ellos a través de un formulario de su web y no te contestan a ningún mensaje , en la web el pedido aparece como el primer día que lo compre , en tramitación y ya no ha habido más actualizaciones, es la peor empresa con diferencia en atención al cliente , bueno es que no hay ningún tipo de atención al cliente , CUIDADO CON ESTA EMPRESA, si tienes la suerte de que te envien el artículo en tiempo y forma y te llega en buenas condiciones todo estara bien , ahora bien , como te surja algun problema con el envio o que el articulo te llegue roto , entonces en este caso te arrepentirás de haberles echo la compra , peor empresa que está IMPOSIBLE!!!😡😡😡, Ahora otra vez a recurrir a PayPal para ver qué ha ocurrido con el paquete , si es que lo han enviado, por qué lo dudo mucho, vaya gentuza.🤨😡

Con las ventas On Line, el cliente que compra en las tiendas, corre el riesgo de quedarse sin el artículo que ha decidido comprar y que nada indica lo contrario pues están visibles en estantes o escaparates. Después de confirmar a la dependienta/e (verificado el buen funcionamiento), que compras dicho artículo, si otro comprador on line paga la reserva del producto unos minutos antes, aunque estés en la cola de Caja para pagar la compra,tu te quedas sin el artículo en cuestion. Conclusión final: tal vez lo mejor seria no comprar en las tiendas y solo comprar por la Red,el cliente en tienda a perdido el tiempo y sale con una clara impotencia por algo que quería comprar y no ha podido.Es la tercera vez que me ha ocurrido en pocos meses y llevo comprando solamente hace 27 años.

Love cash converters, especially the buy back service, staff are really helpful, Lewis really stood out for me always nice to customers and helpful, a very useful shop to have in the town,most of the staff second to none

I bought a Samsung A32 5G phone at Cash Converters mall@carnival for the Cash price of R2499 and a cell phone charger at R29. In the shop the sales lady confirmed phone was receiving calls, perfectly. I asked her for the original cellphone charger that the phone came with she said it did not come with one and I needed to buy a charger which I did. Okay at home I left the phone on charge for a day and then the next decided to utilize the phone upon doing so I noticed the phone is not picking up my home wifi so I done a reset to factory settings in the phone. Still wifi was not picking up. On the 3rd day 5th June I went back to the store stating to the manager Chris whats going on and that I wanted another phone or refund since the phone I bought is not picking up the wifi. The Outlet Manager Chris by name said "he cannot help me I must take it a Pakistani to fix". I was very upset as I just spent R2499 for a phone and R30 for a charge that the phone is not working. Being that I needed a phone I took it iSmart cellular. They are a recognized cellphone repair outlet.Upon opening the phone the technician shows me that 16 screws in the phone are not present. And that he will try and fix the phone. I told where and how I got they phone he said that it was not fair what Cash Converters have done to me according to the Customer compliance code. Please assist me on what to do as I have a disability and the monies to buy the phone was saved through the months. It's a disgrace that Cash Converters not willing to take the phone back which I figure they knew has various problems. I have the slip of purchase available dated 3rd June 2024. Review relates to recent visit to Leyton store/ I bought a brand new Kenwood portable/rechargeable DAB Radio. Item was brand new boxed and mint. Sales advisor was young woman- helpful and friendly.

I initially reached out to the High Wycombe store to get a valuation on two 18ct gold Gucci bangles, who stated they will need to go through Head Office to be able to obtain a quote, and will need to brought into store ideally. I sent the store images, as the store isn’t near to me. They consistently insisted that I gave them a price I would be looking for otherwise they’ll be unable to get an offer for them. As I stated they retail for £2100 each, around £800 each would be ideal. They then gave an offer of £600 each which was quite a bit off my asking price, therefore I asked if they would be ok with around £660 as I did say my lowest asking price was £700. They didn’t even respond back to the emails after 12 days! Therefore, I decided to give them a call, Shaqeel who is the ‘manager’ answered. I asked him what’s happening with the bangles, and whether they would be able to increase the offer by a bit, even if we can do £625 each. His response was “take it or leave it”. Who does he think he is, by talking to a customer in this manner, he’s only a worker! He doesn’t own Cash Converters. I stated, lets £600 for now. The following day they rang me, and stated they can still do £600 for the gold bangle, but the silver one will need to £300 as it had a slight bent (which can come out), and therefore will be scrap. Therefore, I stated I’ll need both back and I’ll collect from the store. Again, I had to chase them on email to get a response.

Overall, I would avoid this store like the plague, the customer service is dreadful, it smells (needs a very good clean), and just not a good vibe. And none the less, Shaqeel doesn’t even deserve to be a manager, he’s a disgrace to Cash Converters.

If I could give zero stars I would in this case. What a waste of time dealing with Cash Converters!!
