Not good had to ring for someone twice to cometo the bar
Joint today after not going for years,went with 2 freinds 1 of them play bingo a lot.it was very fast but the worse part was the clarity of the link up.missed many numbers and it was so fast you didn't have time to check the telly.i assume you have a loop system, if you have it made no difference to the clarity.when the in house caller was calling it was much better although still fast but you could hear what numbers was being called.cood job the food was free as it was disgusting.did sig up but won't be going again.yhere was about 20 people in the whole hall,and I can see why.it was always packed when I used to go regular.this will not be a regular apperance

Do not pay over the top to play bingo !
For the amount you pay to play bingo is high to the prize money being paid out ! If you go afternoons its £5 a line £10 for two lines and £20 / £25 for the house ! And this is for all the 8 games they play. The first two are linked up and no one from Plymouth wins. And we do find its he same old people winning all the time !

Always an enjoyable evening
Always an enjoyable evening. I do feel that as a regular Sunday bingo person, we do not get as many offers and good deals as other days. The other thing that had been a problem over the last couple of weeks is the ladies toilets, often very smelly.

Visited plymouth buzz not been in ages
Was dissapointed didn't have my card and man on the door not very welcoming and happy then went to get bingo books amd as I hadn't been for a long time was unsure what I wanted the lady was not very welcoming amd not helpful at all just pointed to a board didn't tell me what was what so unsure what I got bingo started amd I didn't have that game so was sat doing nothing very expensive for 18 tickets not a very good experience at then coffee machine didn't work the girl on the bar was the only nice one not an experience I would use on another time as time I got the train from exeter ended up an expensive day

Went yesterday to get my bingo card
Went yesterday to get my bingo card, the woman at reception was extremely rude to my mother pushing my 3 month old next to me. Shouting no kids allowed. It’s freezing outside and she wouldn’t even let her stand in the doorway. Her attitude was disgusting. My first time coming here and it has put me off. There’s a nicer way to speak to people. The lady upstairs in the main hall along with the manager were lovely though. I’ll make sure I pass this on as we often have big staff nights out and so won’t be coming here with that attitude.

MY first experience with buzz bingo…
MY first experience with buzz bingo and definitely my last .Worse bingo hall Ever run by bunch amateurs didn't have clue what they where doing so making up as they went along . Staff and people very noisy during games .so all in all not very good experience. Will not go again absolutely shocking

Decline in standard at Gala
I have been going to Ply.outh Derrys Cross Gala for over 20 years and I have seen a decline in all.aspects of the club. The decor is dated, the food standard is poor, staff look scruffy and never in a uniform but always friendly, the winnings are very low, the charges of the packages are.now very expensive in comparison to what is being offered as winnings... 5 per line..10 per house and 100 per house is quite often what is being offered , all in house games in between main stage Bingo are 95% a £1 per board, alot of nationals for very poor winnings where historically the nationals were upto 100k, then dropped to approx 5k and now 10 per line, 20 per 2 lines and either 50 or 100 per house. It saddens me to see this decline

I am sorry to hear that you feel the standards at the Plymouth club are slipping after all these years.
With regards to the staff, I can certainly raise this with the management team as all members of staff should be in uniform so they are easily identifiable to assist our players. However, I am glad to hear you are happy with them in how they assist and act.
Unfortunately, for your pricing concerns, these are always subject to change on the night and as I am sure you can understand, we are still a business and our prices/prizes will increase/decrease over the years.

Great night out
