Deborah from the Chelmsford branch was amazing. She made my wife and I feel very comfortable, she talked us through the pre assessment testing which made me feel comfortable with the whole process.

I have been today for my eye surgery consultation, I must say they are very very professional 👏. Miss Shezna and Miss Chanoni done my eye check and consultation I really recommend everyone needs eye surgery should go to Optical Express.

8 months on from lens replacement and my life is on hold as my eyes are worse than they've ever been. I have had to have yag done in April and had further enhancement lasik done last week of June. All staff and surgeons at Birmingham have been nice and friendly but at this moment I wish i hadn't heard of Optical express. After the lasik enhancement I have been left with horizontal double vision that means everything is blurry constantly. I have to keep getting the train into Birmingham to have check ups and I have been told that my eyes have healed well and I just need to wait for the double vision to settle. No one can predict when this will happen and it could be months I'm told.
Really have a think people before you part with your money, I may think differently if my eyes ever settle but at the moment it feels like I've wasted £7000 and I've made my eyesight much much worse than they were pre surgery.

The staff at the St Enoch Center branch were all very helpful and friendly. A special thanks to Kitti for helping pick out my new frames!

Appointment with the Paisley branch. Staff Dawn, Carole and Holly very pleasant and welcoming. You feel valued as a customer from start to finish. Dawn was fantastic in helping me choose my glasses and frames would be best. Great team at paisley

I had a good experience with Shiona and Yvonne at the St Enoch centre. They were very patient and professional with me. They asked me the appropriate questions and conducted my test very well.

Outstanding customer service from Shiona, Yvonne and all the team at St Enoch’s branch. After undergoing a disturbing health scare with my eye , an appointment was made at very short notice for the very next morning for a thorough eye test which was a great relief to myself and my partner. The care I received was not only professional , but also reassuring ,patient and kind. Yvonne made the experience of selecting appropriate frames seamless and was very accommodating. I also appreciated that both Shiona and Yvonne took the time to speak to my partner to reassure her about my eye after the health scare .My partner who was waiting for me whilst I had my eye test also noted that the other staff were very friendly and that there was a positive ,collaborative vibe in the branch as they went about their day stock taking and serving customers. Overall ,I would describe the service as first class , tailored expertise imbued throughout with empathy , thoughtfulness and the personal touch .

Once again, my visit to Optical Express was absolutely smashing. Louise, Colin were so friendly and helpful, as always.

I went in to simply get my glasses tightened, but they made sure that my prescription was suitable and up to date and they told me when I was due for new glasses.

Red carpet treatment as usual.

Iwona and Louisa were both amazing at Aces in Peterborough, polite and welcoming and made an uncomfortable situation feel really relaxing and easy! Would highly recommend visiting as the team will really look after you here!

Visited the st Enoch centre branch in Glasgow this morning. Staff, Alisha and Ameena - were fantastic- very friendly and helpful. All my concerns were considered and addressed. Highly recommend.

I recently had a fantastic experience with Optical Express. I was so well looked after throughout my laser eye surgery and cannot recommend them enough. I must give a special thank you to Sophie for guiding and supporting me through the whole process and another very special lady (I didn’t catch her name) who was on the other end of the phone at 2am when I was struggling! My surgeon was also fantastic. Thank you to the team ❤️

I was in the St Enoch store being seen by Shona and Yvonne.
The visit went well and they were very accommodating especially since I was late.

My mum went into the branch within Paisley Piazza and was helped by a lovely girl called Holly. She was delighted with the service received and would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended

I entered optical express with a great deal of pain in my left eye having been turned away from Specsavers despite their duty of care.

The manager Donna couldn't have been better and adjusted their diary to get me seen despite the fact they didn't have to.

Ahmed the optometrist was also very good.
The deduction of one star is for the jump of £1500 for a different lens in my right eye to correct astigmatism that I was unaware of. Just cant get my head around that, seems unrealistic. Have decided to go ahead due to service from above mentioned staff.

For over twenty years I've used contact lenses and glasses and was totally fed up using them. I contacted Optical Express at the centre in Edinburgh and went along for a consultation. My eyes were scanned and checked using multiple machines then I was seen by Rose the optometrist who explained the process and completed further tests. I was then booked in to have surgery on the 23rd July 2026. I arrived at 1000 and was back walking to my car (Wife was driving) by about 1145. The procedure was carried out in a state of the art theatre and i was very well looked after. I felt no discomfort or pain during the procedure at all. The only issue I had was I found the light too intense after the procedure which is expected. I attended at the clinic again the following morning for my new lenses to be checked and I was cleared to drive. The difference in my eyesight even whilst still healing, is incredible. An expensive process but if you think of the money you will save on contacts and glasses over the years and for far better vision its well worth the money.

Throughout the process to staff members were very polite and informative as are the emails with information videos prior to the procedure and the videos after, detailing what to expect with the healing process etc.

I would highly recommend.
