I was in the Oxford Toast branch, the staff were very helpful with different sizes as although I am a 14 the needle cord dress I was trying on was quite large and in the end I had a 10! I like the fact that the shirtdress had a half elasticated waist to give it some structure!

I really appreciate that and want to amend my experience!** Although I've been buying from Toast for years, I have to say this is the first time I've had such a bad experience. I ordered a pair of shoes that arrived on the 9th of July. Initially, they were over £300 but I got them on sale for £155. After 4/5 wears I was shocked to see the sole had already began coming off the shoe. I understand these things happen, so I emailed and explained the issue.

Firstly I was told if I wanted to keep the shoes they would refund me £22 which I laughed at. That wouldn't even cover the cost to get them resoled. I emailed and explained I didn't want a refund, I would be happy to return for an exchange or a credit note. They then sent me an invoice for £155 to pay for them to send a new pair out. This was before I even had a chance to post the shoes back.

I don't think it's fair to have a customer pay twice for a pair of shoes that are faulty. They explained they needed to 'inspect' the shoes first; I totally get that, but instead of sending an invoice for the customer to repurchase before you even get them back to inspect is a bit greedy. I would have been happy if you had said you will hold a pair for me until the original pair is deemed faulty and then pop through a credit note or exchange them, or if you absolutely have to refund them; THEN send through an invoice. You are a high end brand, and you can't just assume that everyone will have that sort of money to fork out twice. Some people, like myself, save up for one of your pieces. It's a luxury that I simply can't justify doing twice especially when the first pair is faulty!

TOAST is by far my favorite clothing company for several reasons. Beyond their gorgeous, high quality clothing, their customer care team is truly incredible. I've been a TOAST fan for years and each time I've purchased something in store or online I've consistently received outstanding service. I live in the EU and recently had a customs concern regarding an online purchase (TOAST was not at fault) and their customer care team immediately jumped in to help resolve the issue. The entire customer journey when buying TOAST items is truly exceptional!

Needed to return an order run into issues through the site, I reached out via email and it was sorted in less than 12 hours (for context: I reached out towards the end of the business day, but by the morning it was sorted). Thank you!

I have being shopping with this company for many years and everything i have brought is a good fit and washes well.

Unfortunately 1st time in all these years I did not receive my parcel and spoke to customer's service and within a period of 2 hours they had sorted it for me..

I was looking for a particular size of a garment. It was not available anywhere. Number of shop assistants told me that is sold out. I phoned Customer Services twice. First the answer was not available. I phoned once again, and a young assistant called ALISHA told me that she will try another warehouse. She sent an email. Promptly replied next day and found the correct size of the garment. THANK YOU ALISHA VERY MUCH.

Great clothes and great customer service (especially when things haven't gone quite right). Delighted with latest purchases, consistent Toast great design and quality. Marylebone Store helpful and welcoming as always, and when we had a glitch they were on the case and fixed things super fast. Delighted customer.

We booked elsies retreat shepherds hut thinford with toast for 2 nights,the setting was lovely, but is very noisy as the busy road is right next to the hut,also not enough privacy, had to walk past someone else's accommodation, the hut inside was very disappointing as safety regulations go,no battery in the smoke alarm,my husband cut his leg on the lock of the bed,nails sticking out of the wood at the base of the bed,no hot water only warm in the kitchen sink,really needs to be maintained better.

Toast customer service were unfailingly responsive and helpful. I had a technical issue that prevented me from viewing Toast live. Toast's prompt and patient responses finally enabled me to solve the issue.
