Had a breakdown via Dynamo Cover and the job was handled by their rescue network. It required a complex 3-stage relay to get me and my car from Somerset to North Yorkshire. The text updates via BreakdownCo were spot on, the tracking links were incredibly accurate, and every single one of the three drivers who took over was professional, punctual, and helpful. Excellent coordination of a stressful situation

Easy to use app pinpoints your location and customer service rang within 5 mins. Van was recovered within 1 hour and customer service rang me to confirm that I had been recovered successfully

“I had an extremely disappointing experience with Call Assist. My brand new van was scratched during recovery. The driver used special equipment to load it but never told me there’d be an additional charge. On the way to the garage, I felt pressured to pay or the driver wouldn’t unload my van. I later submitted a formal complaint, but the response failed to address my main concerns.” That left me frustrated and very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend Call Assist. Customers deserve honest pricing and respectful treatment.

Having not broken dowwnfor over 20 years I found the whole experience, via call assist, extremely helpful and completely stress free. From the initial call, to using the app, it was easy to use and they kept me informed at all stages iwith texts and timeframes including a call at end confirming that I had reached my destination

Call Assist call handler kept me up to date. Could track recovery vehicle.
Only downside was the mechanic didn’t have a gun for the wheel nuts. And could only hand tighten. He suggested 30 miles before they needed tightening again.

Twice I’ve called Call Assist and both times the service has been fantastic

The response time was really quick ( and I was over on Stanhope showground which is a bit out of the way ! ) and the young man who sorted out the problem was just so pleasant and efficient . He even escorted me all the way back to Barnard Castle over the top , which is almost a wilderness! Very happy with your service as always .

Absolutely disgusted with this service after they charged me £232 to recover me because apparently work that I had done to my vehicle could have been the cause of the breakdown. And they never recovered me after I called the recovery company they were using who told me that my recovery had been put on hold and it would be at least 5 or 6 hours before a driver might become available! I cancelled the recovery because fortunately a friend was available to tow me home. Almost a week later and they still have not refunded me. Blatant discrimination and a case of extortionate demand of payment. Terrible customer service, no response to my repeated email and calls to get the money refunded. Completely outrageous, I am absolutely disgusted with them.

Edit.. well that got a response! Somebody from the company emailed me the morning after I wrote the first paragraph of this to apologise for my experience and to say that my case had is being dealt with by their senior investigation person and I should receive a response within 28 days! 28 days?? What? Why should it take so long? Are they hoping that I will forget about it so they can earn interest on my money or what? I'm even more outraged and disgusted by this company's attitude because of this now.

I broke down on M23 just off Gatwick at 3am Weds 8th July...Call Assist were amazing and ensured I got my car recovered to where I needed to go. It took some time to organise due to the time, Call Assist followed up with phone calls and kept me informed every step of the way ...would highly recommend...many thanks... Simon

I would have the service a 5starr but I found the process of trying to talk someone a long and frustrating process. The pickup truck arrived sooner than predicted so that was really good for me. The driver Nick was a very pleasant man, helpful in explaining what he thought the problem maybe. Got me and my car back home safely. Thankyou

Broke down in a regular car park.
They said we would need an Eastman truck for recovery at £450 cost to us.
Spoke to Auto Aid Breakdown, who acts on their behalf and they said it wouldn’t have been the case and to put a complaint in. After 3 hours we paid a garage £250 to take us home.
Oh and before I get a generic response to this email from Call Assist, I did complain and was told I should get a response within 8 weeks!! Really? Either they get a lot of complaints or have total disregard to their customers. Shocking service!

Call handler Lucy friendly calm polite and reassuring. JD AUTOMOTIVE & RECOVERY were with me well within the hour which is the beauty using a trusted reliable recovery. I ve forgotten the recoverymans name. Despite it being about 40 degrees he was polite friendly sociable efficient calming down to a earth 100% topman proessional. I would highly recommend him to anyone who had broken down. The lorry cab was clean and tidy. No argument as to where i wanted recovered to or giving me a lift home. 5 ⭐️customer service🙂

Fantastic Service. Call assist came to my aid very recently when I was stranded alone 300 miles from home on my motorcycle.
Recovered home by way of a relay process they acted quickly, the recovery contractors were great and they kept in touch with me regarding my welfare and giving me updates.

The employee sent by Call Assist instructed us we could drive safely 90 miles home from Bristol with a long, bent nail/screw in our tyre. The employee did not want to do any work on our tyre in terms of a repair. He said "I would be happy to drive to Scotland with that screw in your tyre" and advised us to continue our journey. We felt confident and safe with his advice.
We could have been killed as we then had to stop several times on a busy hard shoulder of a motorway in the pitch black dark as our tyre continually lost pressure. I was in fear for my life.
Call Assist have upheld our complaint against them but never given us an apology to this date.
After being given the runaround now for 11 weeks since the incident, we are at our wits end with this organisation, also known as RCIB and Auto National.
The absolute basics that you want from a rescue service is safety - it should be paramount above all. The advice we were given could have killed or severely injured us.
*note - relating to Call Assists reply below. Utter nonsense, no one has contacted us since we posted this review.

What a joke this company is paid for a breakdown recovery service kept on phone for over 2 hours 40 minutes they refused to come out unless I paid £121 up front to prove that my car has a engine management fault on it d not use this company ever they call you a lier and giggle down the phone when you lose your rag and frustration I was freezing cold but they didn’t care one bit I’m taking legal action against them for lose of earnings stress and inconvenience do not use this company
